Nice to see ya, JC. A question for ya: I thought Lakeland was between Orlando and Daytona. It isn't?

Ugh me and directions Daytona isn't that far from here. on one side is Tampa at 45 minutes, and the other side is Orlando at about an hour through the interstate, so I just say between there as the big cities. But yep Daytona is just above Orlando so slightly farther, I haven't driven it but maybe an hour and a half?

My bad on the directions then! You're definitely closer to Tampa then! And I thought my sense of direction was lousy too.

Dunnellon lol. It's a somewhat small town...Rainbow Springs State Park is in it though. Jeepers Creepers was filmed there too.

We might be getting some. There are already some in Crystal River. Recently Juliette Falls appeared in our town. They say on their website to come and live in the beautiful area...here's a picture of Juliette Falls:

I'm hoping I can move out of Florida eventually, but I still wouldn't mind meeting others here from the Tampa Bay area.

I live North of Orlando now, but I grew up around Tamapa> I spent most of my childhood in Plant City, but whent to Jr. High and High school in Tampa.


I love Florida, but in away it has become so croweded. Even the rural areas like Plant City are becoming Urbanized.

I am from/live north of Tampa, I can't stand all the new roads, buildings and sub divisions. I like pine trees, palmetto bushes, cows and bobcats, not concrete. Don't need it, don't want it... money rules around here though...

Hiya - I have a co-worker relocating to the Tampa area. He's single/25 and is apartment hunting. Are there any areas you would recommend he check out?

I've been in Melbourne for almost 3 years now and really like it here. Of course, it's a lot slower paced/laid back/less populated than West Palm Beach. We don't seem to have anyone on here from South FL - do we?
