So in terms of fossils, bones etc you believe that all the evidence of this event was removed?
Yes -- all but the coccoliths.

And for the record, I disagree with the way you're wording it; but you have your perspective and I have mine.

You're contradicting yourself.

Either the word NO, or the word ANYWHERE, has to go in your last post.

You seem to be claiming that those in landlocked areas were building boats.

If they were, they must have been doing so to sell them.

Whatever. Some people had access to boats, ships, barges. Why not jump in 'em?

It’s almost like it never happened.

I can understand Eve saying the same thing about Adam's rib.

When God took a rib from Adam ...

Genesis 2:21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;

... do you think He left a scar behind?

Even if they could get to a boat, and even if the water was rising slower than we might imagine sometimes, those conditions would make it impossible to gather a years worth of food and water and put on board. My point is they would have died anyway; it was too late for them.

I believe some people use boats for fishing, but it's a moot point anyway, as there is no evidence that the whole thing is anything other than a work of fiction.

If anyone wants to claim any physics in unknown times of the future or regarding creation issues, they bear the weight of proof. If I point out science doesn't know, you still bear it if you claim it does.
And they have proven their claims. You do not understand the science and deny it. That is why the burden of proof is upon you. It is not the fault of others that you refuse to learn.

Once again dad this is why you almost always lose. You refuse to learn. You can only lose as a result. I offered to help you with the basics so that you can understand how you are wrong but the then you could not use your ostrich defense.

Yes, this amazing invention of Isaac Newton called "calculus" for one. But creationists as a rule can't do math. One can tell by the statements that they make.
7/7 = 1
20%/20% = 1
car/car = 1
0 / 0 = ?

Of course science today would frown on these stories being referred to as anything other than myths, but why are there so many different worldwide flood accounts, with no knowledge of each other, if something catastrophic didn’t happen?

Flood myths are common across a wide range of cultures, extending back into Bronze Age and Neolithic prehistory. These accounts depict a flood, sometimes global in scale, usually sent by a deity or deities to destroy civilization as an act of divine retribution.” Wikipedia

7/7 = 1
20%/20% = 1
car/car = 1
0 / 0 = ?
The first is correct. The rest not so much Since a percentage has to be applied towards something that could easily be wrong. 20% by itself is undefined and therefore meaningless. car is also undefined. Does a Mercedes E class (car) over a Smart Car (a Mercedes product and another car) equal 1? And of course 0/0 is undefined.

But thanks for confirming a general inability to do math.

Different cultures have different flood myths. Some have none. Those that do tend to live on waterways that flood in a destructive manner. Meanwhile the Egyptians that rely on the yearly flooding of the Nile delta do not have a Flood myth. For them a flood is a good thing. Somehow, at least by Ussher's account, the Egyptians were not affected by Noah's flood.

Because we live on a planet where floods are common.

it’s not just “science”, I’ve never met anyone in the Uk who believes the flood story actually happened as reported in the bible.... and that includes members of the clergy.

The Septuagint pushes the date back some... 600 years before the pyramids.
