That would take a lot of pumps.
From our perspective, yes.

But if the earth is just God's footstool ... well ... you know.

And why isn't there any genetic evidence of this magical flood?
Genetic information?

Not just a human bottleneck. All land based life.
What about it? what is it you're expecting to be seeing?

Did you see my bottleneck challenge thread?

Why would I be interested in a thread dedicated to a total fail of yours? You do not seem to realize that you keep claiming that your version of God is dishonest. That sounds like sacrilege to me.

Nope?

Let's test it, shall we?

Put some dead cows that died of anthrax in a corral.

Pump in some water until the water is ... oh ... ten feet deep.

Let it sit there for a year, then pump out what water is remaining and let the soggy earth and rotten flesh just lie there and fester.

Now send eight horses into the corral.

Let me know the results.

I don't either.

I think God took the whole shebang to another planet.

(With the exception of the coccoliths.)
I figure if the windows of heaven can open and draw waters to earth from the far side of the firmament hey, they probably could have sucked it off the planet also! Heck even man has a vacuum cleaner that can more or less do that sort of thing.

Sure.

So, can you provide the geological layer where the flood occurred?
Not the layer, but the date… 3298 BC, according to the Septuagint. And, supposedly according to the Dead Sea Scrolls, the Septuagint is the closest translation to the Hebrew scripture Jesus would have used, and He believed in the Flood, Matthew 24:37-39. That’s good enough for me.

Yup.

Like putting a straw in a sippy cup.

Yeah, I'm gonna' need to see a geological boundary for a global flood.

Yeah, I'm gonna' need to see a geological boundary for a global flood.

I'm gonna need to see a valid mechanism! If it involves 'God did it', then it is nothing to do with science, and should not be in this section.

I go with KT layer.
So, you're going with the flood leaving a layer of iridium over the globe 65.5mya as the flood geological layer? Why do we not find fossils of modern humans before the KT?
