OK. So God layered the dinosaur bones upon cleanup right after the Flood.

Yup.

He seems to have layered them to make it appear that it was way older than 65million years ago that they died.

How do you layer something that makes it appear so old?

Layering has nothing to do with age.

If they find my grandfather's casket above my dad's casket in the ground, it was obviously put that way deliberately; and has nothing to do with either of their two ages.

And during the clean up I can't help but wonder about the other animals who were layered in strata above the dinosaur to make them appear far younger in time.

It wasn't done "to make them appear far younger in time."

Just like if they found my grandfather's casket over my dad's casket in the ground.

It wasn't done to make my grandfather look younger than my father.

Do you have any insight on that timeline?

God layered the earth at the end of the Flood, which occurred in 2348 BC.

That should make it 2347 BC.

Sorry, I'm still confused. When does the creation with age come in than? Dinosaur are aged at 65million years and older based on the geology they are found in. I was assuming that's the layering aspect. Not so?

Dinosaur are aged at 65 million years and older based on the geology they are found in.

Geology is a joke.

Geologists draw a column on paper, then label that column -- if I remember right -- neolithic, mesolithic, and paleolithic.

Then they assign long periods of time between those three eras.

Then they subdivide those into ... what? ... Davidian and Ordovidian and other goofy names.

But what they're really doing, is comparable to taking the street you live on, stretching it out some million miles, then claiming anything found between you and your neighbor's house, which is now about ten thousand miles away, got deposited (or formed) there over a period of centuries.

One night in a library would cure your misunderstandings. See My Epiphany

Thanks for hanging in there with my questioning.

Something there doesn't look right to me. Are you suggesting that God spread the Rex bones about 100 years of so "after" He cleaned up His mess?
Rex must have been like rabbits, stating with two
juvies to so many in a hundred years.

Yes.

One night in the library and I'll be told how my street has been stretched out to about ten million miles in length.

No offense, I'll pass.
No sir. One night in a library and you will find out there is overwhelming evidence that the earth is billions of years old.

A very good place to start is with the book The Grand Canyon: Monument to an Ancient Earth . It is a beautifully illustrated book with tons of evidence. You will discover that we are not talking about a few fossils that have been stretched out to make the earth look old, but rather, there is overwhelming evidence.

Four verses in a book about a guy who is claimed to be god doesn't really seem like much in the way of evidence.

Aside: Is this thread still about floods, geology, and the nexus between?

I was pointing out that science was overthrown by Jesus, Who, as God, turned water into wine in one day. It takes a winemaker anything up to 300 days, to make 'good' wine.

The grand canyon is the most obvious evidence of a global flood.

No sir, the column you see on paper is a summary or what we can see in the rocks world wide. Here is an example.

Then they assign long periods of time between those three eras.
The Earth is old. How else can you explain all the layers shown above? Millions of miracles? Everyone of those ad-hoc miracles is unexpected by your flood-cleanup hypothesis. These layers do not look like a cleanup after a flood. They look like an old earth.

Then they subdivide those into ... what? ... Davidian and Ordovidian and other goofy names.
Uh, it was creationists who first started naming these layers. They were doing real geology, and needed names to describe the layers they were seeing.

Search for yourself. It's obvious to me
Please explain to me why it is obvious that the layers in the photo posted above came from a global flood.

I did not say you guys stretch the fossils.

I said you stretch the time.

Embedded time? How does that fit in the picture?

It's what AV invented so he can get a 6000 year old earth to mesh with what we see in a 14.5 billion year old earth.

Basically, God made the world 6000 years ago, but He expressly and precisely did it to look 14.5 billion years old.
