Most scientists and astronomers are atheists, so to try to fill the spiritual emptiness within themselves, they 'worship' the universe as their 'god' and are willing to spend billions as 'offerings' to it..

The bible tells us Jesus is returning to earth to rule. There is no escape. Wasting trillions trying to avoid the fate of man on earth is in my opinion a waste and not of God at all.

It’s Musk’s fantasy and certainly not going to be reality within his lifetime. Maybe we can get astronauts to Mars just to do it, but to colonize? Way off from that possibility. I would’t worry about it. If you believe your God is against it, let your God worry about it.

Why would an atheist scientist prioritize something they don’t believe exists? You are projecting your beliefs onto them. It doesn’t work that way.

Apparently, even if affluent people try to escape to the stars, God can bring them down from there as the scripture says. So space colonization is actually accounted for, even in the scripture. (Re: "not of God")
