He lied about scientists worshiping the universe. All he did was post a verse. Do you disagree with it?
Do you know any, because I certainly do.Most scientists and astronomers are atheists, so to try to fill the spiritual emptiness within themselves, they 'worship' the universe as their 'god' and are willing to spend billions as 'offerings' to it..![]()
We can worship mars then?Food for thought-
"Do not worship the sun moon and stars" (Deut 4:19)
It’s Musk’s fantasy and certainly not going to be reality within his lifetime. Maybe we can get astronauts to Mars just to do it, but to colonize? Way off from that possibility. I would’t worry about it. If you believe your God is against it, let your God worry about it.“If there’s something terrible that happens on Earth, either made by humans or natural, we want to have, like, life insurance for life as a whole,” Musk said in 2020. He wants to turn the planet into a self-sustaining colony, and he reportedly told SpaceX staffers last year he envisions one million people living on Mars by the 2040s.

Elon Musk Says He Wants To Send Humans To Mars As Soon As 2029
Musk—who has a history of setting unrealized goals for his companies—says he wants to send humans to Mars by 2029, though he says 2031 may be more likely.www.forbes.com
The bible tells us Jesus is returning to earth to rule. There is no escape. Wasting trillions trying to avoid the fate of man on earth is in my opinion a waste and not of God at all.
Thoughts?
He may be correct in the statement that most of them are not believers.
Maybe you just have a different idea of the definition of 'worship'. One definition might be what we put first. It is safe to say most scientists do not put God first in their thoughts about His universe. He lied about scientists worshiping the universe.
I am not worried about it. I just wanted to point out that the concept itself (whether we achieve it in our lives or not) is a waste of money and a disrespect to fellow mankind and God and His wordIt’s Musk’s fantasy and certainly not going to be reality within his lifetime. Maybe we can get astronauts to Mars just to do it, but to colonize? Way off from that possibility. I would’t worry about it. If you believe your God is against it, let your God worry about it.
To not call it that is denial, tack any mental disease you like on it. Better to face reality and the fact that atheist scientists basically are mentally and spiritually ill if they put nature first and not God. The results of that speculation and skewed view and methodology also is truly insane as well as directly contrary to Scripture.Atheists or not, to categorize them as universe 'worshipers' is borderline lunacy.
A mediocre display of gymnastics.Maybe you just have a different idea of the definition of 'worship'. One definition might be what we put first. It is safe to say most scientists do not put God first in their thoughts about His universe.
Where does one find that diagnosis in the DSM?To not call it that is denial, tack any mental disease you like on it. Better to face reality and the fact that atheist scientists basically are mentally and spiritually ill if they put nature first and not God.
Why would an atheist scientist prioritize something they don’t believe exists? You are projecting your beliefs onto them. It doesn’t work that way.To not call it that is denial, tack any mental disease you like on it. Most of them reject God so they worship the universe, it's all they've got..He lied about scientists worshiping the universe.
Apparently, even if affluent people try to escape to the stars, God can bring them down from there as the scripture says. So space colonization is actually accounted for, even in the scripture. The actual meaning of a word should matterA mediocre display of gymnastics.
Where is it in the bible, that we need to look to the 'dsm' to know right and wrong, good and bad, sound mind from demonism? Better to look the the HKB. (He knows better)Where does one find that diagnosis in the DSM?
Exactly. Why? They worship and put first what they wish. By the same token, why would we as one of God's children to prioritize a view of the created universe that says it doesn't exist? Why would an atheist scientist prioritize something they don’t believe exists? You are projecting your beliefs onto them.
Absolutely. Who knows, after wasting enough money they might actually start to get there and even have some people living there by the time Jesus returns.Apparently, even if affluent people try to escape to the stars, God can bring them down from there as the scripture says. Lots of movies to motivate the imagination, but they're so ridiculous now in concept that the younger generation that would be eligible to go wouldn't be influenced by them.Absolutely. Who knows, after wasting enough money they might actually start to get there and even have some people living there by the time Jesus returns.
