By 15 the prophesy id over. For your information a prophesy does not need to cover whole books or chapters. Not at all. Sometimes in the middle of a verse it propels thousands of years into a different time.

Generally speaking, when a sentence starts with a pronoun it is directly connected with the one before and that's how Is 7:15 starts : "He shall be living..." Now who could "He" be? The Lord? (I doubt it.) "The virgin"? wrong pronoun. What about the name right before "He" ... Immanuel. That fits. The next verse also refers to "the child" which would also fit.

I think everyone will physically stand before the judgement seat of Christ. Do you think God will put them back on mars afterwards? What would be the point then? Civilization will never become extinct after Judgement Day.

Why would He put wicked people back up on a planet after He rules earth? Even if some were believers up there why would He send them to that desolate place again in a new body? We do not even know that Mars or the current universe will exist the same.

If Jesus is in verse 15 explain how that fits? Do you think Jesus needed to learn how to choose good and refuse evil? Was He famous for eating butter and honey? It doesn't seem to fit the spirit of the prophesy to me. Maybe it fit Ahaz's kid?

I’m in favor of humanity being a multi planetary species in general. As for Elon, his plans are fantasy but he looks to have lost interest in playing with rockets now that toying with governments has his attention.

The technological direction will be so regular people can afford to go. But it will take a long time.

Back as a teen in 1968, I honestly and totally believed that by 2001 ordinary people like me would be able to afford at least a suborbital ride on Pan Am into space. I absolutely believed that. I believed that by 2001 there would be a torus space station with Hilton and Howard Johnson. I totally believed we'd have a permanent station on the moon.

And why not? It had taken only nine years to go from 50% launch failure rates...to the moon. Why not all those other things within another generation?

But here we are, fifty years later. We don't a moon base, we don't have a torus space station. We don't have Pan Am suborbital flights at economical prices. We don't even have Pan Am or Howard Johnson anymore.

I've got no confidence whatsoever that regular people will ever be able to afford tourist flights to Mars.

It's "curds" not butter, and apparently it was a food for small children.

It doesn't seem to fit the spirit of the prophesy to me.

Bingo. The whole thing from verse 13-16 is about a young woman at court having a child and something else happening why that child is still small.

Technology progresses by as much money is put into it. We could have everything by now that 2001: A Space Odyssey predicted, if we had continued to pour as much money into space technology as we'd poured into it during the 1960s. But there isn't--and isn't likely to be--the will to pour that much money into it.

The current way things are done, it will never happen. However, a lot of empires are on the brink of collapse. So new ones might just rise up and do things differently. 200 years is a long time. Not to God mind you, but long enough to get something done.

My concern would not be how high a spaceship flies, but how it doesn't benefit mankind as a whole.
