You seem to be saying (forgive me if I've misunderstood) that the earth isn't a planet, and that God created the earth but didn't create the planets. I don't see how Isaiah 40:22 affects the matter:

“It is He who sits above the circle of the earth, And its inhabitants [are] like grasshoppers, Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, And spreads them out like a tent to dwell in.” (Isa 40:22 NKJV)

Which is why I say if reality contradicts what you think God is saying, then God isn’t saying it. The reality of the telescope equatorial mount contradicts your claim of what God is saying, therefore God is not saying it. The mount is undeniable evidence against flat earth. It would not & could not work as its design intends if the earth is flat. Slam dunk.

If you take this to mean the earth is flat then that would mean the earth is a one dimensional circle, like a circle drawn on a page, and not a three dimensional object, like a physical disc.

I have read it. The word translated "circle" there is exactly the same word as is translated "circuit" in Job 22:14:

Thick clouds [are] a covering to him, that he seeth not; and he walketh in the circuit <02329> of heaven.” (Job 22:14 KJV)

So it could equally be referring to the earth's orbit.

Incidentally, I still can't see France from my window, as I should be able to if the earth were a flat disc.

Yes, if you are standing on the cliffs at Dover, the horizon is over 23 miles away. You cannot see France if you stand at sea level, even at Dover. I certainly cannot see France from my house in Devon on the south coast, even though I'm about as high up as the Dover cliffs.

You can follow Saturn a lot better with an equatorial mount, it's design being dependent on a rotating globe cosmology.

I find it ridiculous that you never step outside of your comfort zone. You never try to grapple with the possibility that you are wrong. You prefer to stay in the conspiracy theories that reinforce your sense of “knowing” something that other sincere Christians know not to be true.

Next question; how deep is it?
If you have a CD or draw a circle on a piece of card, there is almost no depth to it.
But the King James Bible talks about God bringing his people from the depths of the sea, Psalm 68:22, and the depths of the earth, Psalm 71:20. Solomon said that people were in the depths of hell. Proverbs 9:18 and Micah said that God will cast our sins into the depths of the sea.
So, how deep is deep?
When people are buried we talk about them being "six foot under". When builders lay the foundations of a house, they might dig that far, or go down even further. How deep are the oceans - 1 mile, 2? How far do they drill down? What does the Bible teach us about the depth of the earth?

Can you draw a circle which is flat but about 2 miles deep?

Seeing as you almost definitely won't do any real study yourself, here is the context of this verse. It is to be found in the surrounding verses, Job 38:12-15 KJV:

12 Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; and caused the dayspring to know his place;

13 That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?

14 It is turned as clay to the seal; and they stand as a garment.

15 And from the wicked their light is withholden, and the high arm shall be broken.

It's talking about how the morning changes the earth, it's contours from being hidden into sharp relief, like a seal (which is not defined as to what type of seal it is) changes featureless clay into clay with contours, and the power of the wicked is broken. That’s the context. It has absolutely nothing to do with the shape of the earth.

Taking one verse and using it out of context ensures making errors of interpretation.
