Flat Earth: Why doesn't a Plane's altitude meter (gyroscope) pitch up and down if it's a round earth

When most people say "Round", they are referring to a ball-like shape. Yes, "spheroid" is the technical, correct term for it, but the usual slang is "ball" or "round".

When something is flat with a circle-like shape, they usually call it a disc.

The moon, for you techies out there, supposedly, has an off center of gravity. And I just heard after being asked yet again an age old question by a friend of mine, that Mars has twice the amount of Deuterium in it that our oceans have. It is thought the lighter hydrogen water, is driven off by particles, once the magnetic field collapsed from the cooling of the interior of the planet.

Our amount of Deuterium is twice the normal amount that is found in the universe. I don't know how they got that number.

Deuterium is interesting because it is a fundamental particle that is not being recreated anywhere in the universe. That means to me, once it is gone or reduced, it is gone.

So, what. Nothing. I am just glad we are talking about gravity and it's effects on early dust particles and hydrogen, where the dust particles turn into planets and the hydrogen turns into stars, but because of gravity, each is round or roundish.

Roundish like our planet, is due to it's spinning, but also the sun's pull on it, again from gravity. If the sun and the moon were not there, and the planet were not spinning, then it would be as you all expect, a globe hung on nothing, just like it is said in the Bible.

Flat earthers exist for reasons that I am unaware of. Biblically they seem to exist for not knowing both science and those discoveries are to be followed Biblically. It is as though they do not understand what Genesis 1:28 says. Part of Genesis 1:28 is to subdue the earth.

Subduing the earth requires science. Since that is in there, then listening to what our scientists say, is doing what God wants those believers to do. Yet, some of them do not do that part of what God says.

I will look at your video shortly. Heavy Particle Accelerators are normally called Ion Implanters. They use lots of valves, like on the space station. Semicondutor Processing sytems not only use valves, like the ones used on the space station but handle some chemicals like Surphuric Acid.

I have worked with those for years. I will watch your video now.

The video is not of any kind of use, except to be sympathizing with the plight of flat earthers. Technically, it is below useless.

1.) Why do you want to believe the earth is flat?
2.) Do you need to believe the earth is flat?

Do, what you want, with the roundish earth in your own mind. Do it. However, most of the world knows you are wrong and can prove it, but I have noticed that you don't want the proof.

According to NASA, the temperature of the ISS is 250 degrees in the sun and NEGATIVE 250 degrees in the shade.

Tell me which seal can operate perfectly at NEGATIVE 250 degrees. The seal would need to developed to a millionth of an inch tolerance to prevent any shifts/movements. If one of the seals fail, the entire ISS is done. There are no pressurized locks/hatches between each compartment.

That is not what NASA said. You missed quoting a word. That word is "would". NASA says that is what the temperature would be, if no controls were in place.

And, to add to the help from mmksparbud, you morse86 radiate heat, in the form of light called Infrared Radiation. Infrared, is merely words to denote the frequecy, thus the wavelength of light, that we are familiar with called heat radiation.

Most of sun, that warms your skin, is probably that one. Well you also send off that invisible source to you, of energy. Cameras now pick that up. That is what is on many helicopters to see people at night, and to do search and rescue of people lost in a forest.

It is that form of energy that is radiated, is what it sounds like.

• Ceres, like the earth, is a spheroid.

Though it's always wise to be specific with people who deny the science on a topic that was settled thousands of years ago.

If I recall correctly, morse believes eclipses are warning signs from God, so the shape of the shadow doesn't mean anything since it's just a supernatural event. That you can predict eclipses in a way that only makes sense if the Earth is spherical and a way that would make no sense if they happened at the unpredictable whims of an all-powerful deity didn't seem to faze him much.

How does he justify that it's supernatural when.....it happens naturally, can be explained and predicted with precise accuracy? I guess some people aren't willing to be wrong about anything...in which case they are not worth debating with.

For me, it matters little. I can live my life flat or globe, with no bearing on anything.

However, if there is a great hoax here, all I can say is.....there goes the big bang and evolution. There goes all of NASA's trillions of dollars of spending. This would be the biggest scam of mankind.

I just want truth. There are a lot of questions that should be answered.Many can easily be answered. Many are very suspicious.

Just point a high powered telescope at the moon and show us what we left there. Done.

Show us satellite video as it passes over the south pole without composite images.Done.

Stop with the fish eye lenses camera shots that distort real imagery. Done.

Come on people, there is an easy fix here but all we get is.."believe us", "that's so old school",
"you're crazy", "put on your tinfoil hat"...

You cannot prove a globe earth without NASA data and if they are lying who do we go to?
