You say that the earth is spinning, therefore anything hovering above the ground should be able after 12 hours to land on the other side of the world.
This is why a spinning ball is a load of hog wash, it not true as God say's the earth is unmovable for ever.
Why can't you see & except the truth ?
As I said, when in a moving train travelling at 40mph, if you jump you will not find yourself hitting the back of the carriage at 40mph. Try doing the same thing with a remote control model helicopter (or a drone which you can buy in multiple stores) in the train. Hover it over the floor which is moving at 40mph, it will not slam into the back of the train either. It will remain over the same spot of the floor, even though the helicopter or drone is just hovering and floor of the train is moving at 40mph.

Once again, the First Law of Motion says, no, you're wrong, try again. Something hovering still has the same inertia that it had when sitting on the ground. It was moving with the ground while on the ground, it's still moving with the ground while hovering. It's basic high school physics. Some of the very first stuff you learn in physics. Grab a beginner's guide to physics somewhere.

How are they ?
Because virtually every time you post, you just parrot things that conspiracy theorists claim without verifying the veracity of their claims. Your refusal to accept a very basic truth of a helicopter lifting off from a moving surface will not need to be driven forward in order to maintain the same position over that moving surface is an example of that. What you claim is not the truth, and anyone with a basic understanding of experimental physics will know it for certain. That’s why flat earth proponents sound so silly.

If provable and repeatable experiments disagree with your interpretation of Scripture, then your interpretation, not God, is wrong.

I'm neither Flat Earth, nor YEC.
But I am KJVO.
Ooooookay. My halmoni (grandmother) was persuaded that the Korean translation f the Bible was the only valid one because all the others were written in strange incomprehensible languages. Since it's never a good idea to contradict a Korean grandmother, I have to go along with that.

"All you need to do is read a Bible.."

Okay so how does reading a Bible automatically make everyone who does, a flat earther?
Does your signature Bible verse Joshua 10:13 The sun stopped in the middle of the sky and delayed going down about a full day... indicate a flat earth?

I've seen the model of a flat earth with the sun above going round in a flat circular orbit. So how does that correspond to what Josh.10:13 describes of the sun?

How is the sun seen (perspective) to be in the middle of the sky if we are on a flat earth? Wouldn't 'the middle of the sky' relate to where a person is located on the flat earth? Would others located elsewhere ever see the sun in the middle of the sky or always at a varied angle off center in the sky?

How is the sun seen (perspective) to go down on a flat earth? Wouldn't the sun in it's circular orbit above change in size and appear larger as it moves closer to where you live then appear to reduce in size as it moves away as it circles above a flat earth?

The sun described in Josh.10:13 does not indicate that the earth is flat. It indicates that the earth is spherical as the moon and just as spherical as all other planets in our solar system-galaxy and all others in the universe.
All planets spin around to create gravity to stay on the earth and not float off and out to space. I'll leave it to scientists to explain why the moon doesn't spin but yet has gravity.

To acknowledge that the earth is spherical is not (as flat earthers think) to agree with what atheists or evolutionists say, but to acknowledge and agree with what the verse in Josh.10:13 and all other related verses in the Bible says. The science and atheists confirms what the Bible says of our spherical earth.
Gravity is caused by the mass of an object, not its rotation. And the moon does rotate. Rotation is in sync with its orbit around the earth, hence it always keeps the same face towards earth. The phenomenon is called Tidal Locking:

Otherwise, excellent post.

Did an American missionary translate it?

Was it translated from a King James Bible into Korean?

We support missionaries who translate the Bible into other languages.

I really couldn't say.

I seriously doubt it.

Okay.

Thanks for the info.

So they're translating a translation into another language? Now that's bizarre.

Yes.

There are a lot of cultures who don't have the word of God available to them in their own language.

Especially in the 10/40 Window.

God calls people into the ministry to translate His word into their language.

So why not translate from Hebrew and Aramaic and Greek instead of archaic English English?
God calls people into the ministry to translate His word into their language.
Starting from an antiquated English translation seems remarkably dumb.

That's not the way it works.

What if they don't know a lick of Hebrew, Aramaic, or Greek?

Starting from an antiquated English translation seems remarkably dumb.

I love how one person (can't remember the name) answered this question:

Question: Is the King James Bible the best translation?
Answer: No, the King James Bible is the only translation.

The earth does not travel around the sun, it is the sun, moon & the stars that travels in the firmament above the earth.
It is the firmament/dome that turns like a wheel, not the earth.
As for sunrise & sunsets that is just a matter of perspective.

Perspective causes objects to appear smaller as they move further away. The sun and moon stay the same size as they pass across from East to West, so no, it isn't a matter of perspective.
