I explained this earlier. The context of the word circle in scriptures merely implies a curve or arc, not a 360 degree shape. It's the same as the context of the word disc or circumference in the Book of Enoch.

When you understand this, it becomes clearer.

It's not implying anything except that at a distance the earth can be observed to be a circle. This can hold true for both a round globe or a flat disk-shaped earth depending on the angle.

The Book of Enoch? That is not scripture but apocalyptic religious text. I believe in sola scriptura.

I am not wasting 40 minutes watching pseudoscience. Here are some simple questions. How do you explain sunrise and sunset and the fact that the Sun does not change apparent size? How do you explain Moon light? How do you explain the fact that at the same time in either South America and South Africa, or South Africa and Australia, or in Australia and South America two people on different continents can look due south and see the Southern Cross simultaneously while with every model of the Flat Earth that I have ever seen those they are looking in greatly different directions.

It's called viscosity. If you fill a bath with water then repeatedly drag your hand in one direction on one side of the bath, eventually the water will be circulating the bath tub at the same speed. The earth's surface causes a lot more drag on the atmosphere than your hand in the water.

Except this is not an accurate illustration.

Lets consider something like a blender with viscous liquid.

The liquid near the blade moves at a faster speed than liquid near the edge.

So do the clouds below moving faster than the clouds above?

You do understand that speed is relative, right? If you hold a gun and shoot it, the bullet moves over 1700 mph, but it's an equally valid perspective to say that the bullet is standing still, and you are moving away from it at 1700 mph. Einstein did the math to prove all of this many decades ago.

Why do you think that clouds would rapidly change shape just because they are part of a system that is moving that fast relative to the sun? I bet you think a glass of water would always spill if it was moving at 60 mph, yet you can drive in a car at that speed and the water will be completely unperturbed, unless the car changes speed or direction.

What you fail to comprehend is that the thing that causes inertia is acceleration, not speed. If you went from 0 to 1000 mph in 1 second you would die, but if you did it over the course of an hour, you wouldn't even notice it happening without some external way to measure it.

Now could you please do me the kindness of answering the question you have been continuously avoiding? That is, where are the edges on your model of earth, in Antarctica? Or somewhere else?

When the flight attendant pours your coffee it doesn't splat against the back of the plane, but it pours and behaves 'normally' even though it is rushing hundreds of miles an hour along with you to your destination.

No, it does not. If anything that is about you. You see that is a poor interpretation. The concept of "science" did not exist then. You are too literalistic in your approach to the Bible. At the very least you should try to understand it in the original language that it was written in.
