So leave and go the Christians Only section of the message board.
I fear all threads about this topic will land here sooner or later. The Christians who run this board don't seem to agree with this limited view in this special regard.

But I always wondered why even the most staunch Christian would cry foul when an unbeliever pointed out that 2+2 equals 4.

Well... don't let the door hit you.

Don't let my statement offend you. It was directed at unrepentant unbelievers.

Are you unrepentant?

Is your model the one visible in the little video you posted in the OP?

Yes.

Then... would you care to tell us how missing have of the United States fits into reality?

Design limitations. Square map on a circular surface.

Or how the whole populated surface of the earth being dark at "night", when the sun is going below fits into reality?

Who says it isn't reality?

Or how moving over the "western" end of your nicely curved earth and reappearing on the "eastern" side fits into reality?

Sun rises on the eastern side and sets on the western side at every point on earth. Easily observable.

Dizzy? Why?
Have you ever visited one of the many "rotating restaurants" that are part of some towers? In reality?
These contraptions "spin" a lot faster than earth... and people are sitting there very comfortably eating their dinner... and no one feels "dizzy".

Yes, the classic "there's coincidentally a force which balances out another force, so we don't feel anything."

Somehow I get the feeling that you are trying to have us.

If you are an atheist troll trying to make Christianity look crazy... just go away.
And if you are a Christian troll... why, I have no idea why you would do such a thing here.

Looool.

Please come up with something better.

I was an atheist when I registered here on this forum, a little over 18 years ago. I still am an atheist. Does that answer your question?

Design limitations. Square map on a circular surface.
So, this model does NOT line up with reality. Due to "design limitations". Why would that be? Why didn't you use a square surface? Have you ever noticed "design limitatations" on a globe?

Who says it isn't reality?
Well... reality. It is quite easy to ascertain that at any time of the 24 hour period of a calender day, the sun is visible in some parts of the earth (not even small parts... half of it). You can test that... modern telecommunication makes that very easy.

Just chose some points equally spread out on your version of earth's map, from the very east to the very west, send some trusted companions there and have them give you hourly video reports. If your model is indeed "reality", there would have to be a span of time when all of them report only darkness.

But that doesn't happen.

Sun rises on the eastern side and sets on the western side at every point on earth. Easily observable.
Yes... the sun does that. But I am not talking about the sun. What happens to, say, boats that leave the "western" edge of your map? Why... in the real reality... do they instantaneously appear on the "eastern" edge of your map? (The non-design limited version, if you were able to present one).

Yes, the classic "there's coincidentally a force which balances out another force, so we don't feel anything."
There is nothing coincidental, and there is no balancing. Rotating restaurants are not subject to any "balancing" force... it is just they their rotation (still a lot faster than the globe earth rotates) is too slow for you to "get dizzy"... or even notice.

Does it really speak for the "reality" of your claims if you are unable to even address my points correctly?

Looool.

Please come up with something better.
I did. For some reason - and I won't state my speculations here - you left out the final part of that paragraph.

And, seriously, pal... "Looool"? How old are you?

Flight paths are up to airlines/pilots. Has nothing to do with my model.
It has everything to do with demonstrating the failure of your model, and it is only one of numerous ways your model fails.

And you know this is not the case how?
I have family in Europe and the USA. I live in Australia. The sun is always visible somewhere on the earth. It is never not visible except for that one occasion when our Lord was crucified.

Can I send someone to Antarctica? (restricted by treaty) Or the Diomede Islands? (quite secured as well) or the remote Islands of Hawaii? (restricted to certain researchers only)

Which would you suggest?

What happens to, say, boats that leave the "western" edge of your map? Why... in the real reality... do they instantaneously appear on the "eastern" edge of your map?

And you where on one of such boats when?

How fast do these restaurants rotate?

Does it really speak for the "reality" of your claims if you are unable to even address my points correctly?

You must have a different definition of correct.

More realistic than spinning without feeling dizzy.
One revolution per day makes you dizzy? You must nearly pass out every time you turn left or right.

What exactly are you saying?

The map I used was inaccurate?

Or you want me to formulate my own map to prove an irrelevant point?

I want you to show me a map of what you think the earth looks like. Then we can proceed from there.

Yes, and you can also sail around it, which takes as long as one would expect on a globe.

So people world over generally chose not to visit Antarctica that much?

Do we start a "storm Antarctica" campaign?

Let's be clear here.
Flat Earthers believe this bunk because they are too lazy to learn why earth can only be a spinning globe in a solar system.
It's pretty simple too.
Chances are, you got taught why in school, but forgot.
On the other hand, with school education of present times, what should we expect?

Proceed from anywhere you want.

The earth looks like the map we see.

It just doesn't look like the shape we see.

Impossible.
Distances on a map don't match reality.
Distances on a globe do match reality.

Wrong. They just got too critical in thought to put up with the lies.

That's not an answer.

The most important question is, where are the 'edges'? In Antarctica, as most flat earthers propose?
