Can yopu quote me a law that prevents that?
How would that change your perception? I don't think it would; I think you're just doing the "prove to me its true or I don't believe it" card.

Can yopu quote me a law that prevents that?
And why exactly should my religion not come into play?
The fear of homosexuality is a myth perpetrated by the same group that coined the word, homophobia. What's to be afraid of if you're not actively gay? You better get some God-o-phobia before it's too late. God doesn't like it. He said so. I don't like it either. That's not a fear. It's pure dislike and disgust of the "act of homosexuality" because it disgusts God.Soon all the baby boomers who're afraid of homosexuality will be gone and the votes for homosexual marriage will be higher.
Enjoy it while it lasts Mach. =)
You know it is funny, but if you ask most women what is the ugliest part of a man's body, it isn't the butt (I can assure you). Such emotions don't make them all lesbians.
It makes them very normal. It is rather ugly. And people who would put such things in their mouths are no more adult than a baby eating a handful of dirt.
Sorry, I do not fall for all the homosexual hype. If one wants a baby then one must make a determination that that baby needs both a mother and a daddy. The family comes first, and the "normal" family is made up of a husband and wife (not boy friend, boy friend nor girl friend, girl friend).
Being with a person doesn't mean sex needs to follow.
yes; the church advocates 'do this, and do that', yet, when someone divorces and remarries, they don't kick them out of the church, yet, if someone who is homosexual comes out to their church members, they get excommunicated.
Kinda biggoted if you ask me.
So interracial couples had equal rights when they were not allowed to marry right?Neither can straight people
We certainly could, if we had the votes and that's what we wanted to doIf I child needs a male and female couple to raise it successfully how come the research indicates otherwise?
So we should be able to vote away the ability of interracial couples or irreligious couples to marry right?
To my knowledge, couples don't have rights. Individuals have rights. And when interracial couples were not allowed to marry, they had the same rights as everyone elseSo interracial couples had equal rights when they were not allowed to marry right?

PS The argument about the bible being translated wrong or that Jesus didn't address homosexuality doesn't work on me.
I never said it would be fine. Isaid we could do it if we so wishedI'm not really sure if there is much point in trying to reason with somebody who thinks it would be fine to restrict people from getting government recognized marriages based on factors such as race and religion
They were treated equallyand thinks that people were being treated equally when interracial marriage was illegal.

Again, can you cite a law that makes it that way? And for what it's worth I don't even beilieve what you're saying is true. I've visited completely unrelated people in the hospital and I've had visits from unrelated people. Sounds like a red herring indeedMach>> the law says only heterosexuals can be married; if I claim to be the 'lover' of someone in the hospital, they won't let me see them unless I can provide proof that we're married.
I suppose you think thats okay though.
