What was the first impression when you met your significant other. How long have you been together?

hmmm my first impression of him online was he was just a brilliant and funny guy.

my first impression of him in person was basically the same and i was just amazed how easy it was for us to talk and hang out. there was never that first meeting jitters it was just like we'd known each other for years.

we've been together 15 months.

First impression of him from the VERY first day I met him? I didn't even really pay much attention to him! Yes, I thought he was cute, but I was single and NOT looking and figured he had a girlfriend, so I let things be...HA HA look at us now!

We have been together for 17 months now (18 months on the 14th!!!!)

I met him the day we moved in across the street form him... (his dad was my dads new boss) And I thought he was awkward and just another home schooled guy ( I was home schooled too so I can say that)

I think it took another year before I saw him as a prospect..

As I met my fiance on this forum, my initial impression of him was that his posts were intelligent, articulate, and, most importantly, biblically-centered.

I subsequently confirmed that these posts accurately reflected his character.

He recently moved here following a year and a half of long-distance courting. We have been together nineteen months.

Okay, first off, I hate the color pink. This may seem off topic now, but in terms of meeting each other it has great significance, because when I first saw Charlie, he was wearing a "Tough guys wear pink" shirt... that was baby doll pink. It made me want to puke when I first saw it. So we met at a music department dessert thing, and I talked to like five other people before moving onto a group of people he was in, and they didnt pay attention to me, but he did. My first thought "Oh great, I'm talking to a guy wearing a pink shirt. My dream...."
And then we talked non stop for an hour and a half. The professors were tearing down and there was no one else left but us talking, in the same place we started from. I had been single for less than a week and wasnt looking for a boyfriend, but the attraction grew....

We've been courting for almost 2 months now...and it's been wonderful. He's amazing , even though he does still wear pink........

I thought my boyfriend was a little wierd because he was staring at me alot. We have been together for a month.

I noticed my boyfriend before he even knew I existed. We went to separate schools, and he was a year older than me. But we were both involved in sports and for some reason he always stuck out to me when his school competed against mine. I knew, of course, that he was cute. But it was more kind of just this glow he had about him. You know people say Christians are supposed to be set apart, someone should just be able to TELL you are a Christian by the way you act... well I could tell he was a great guy... a REALLY great guy, before I even spoke with him for the first time. Then the first time we actually did speak, he came across as confident, funny, amiable, and smart. Later he told me he felt NONE of those things at the time lol. But it's funny how things work out. We've been together a little over a year and two months now.

I was blown away...and instinctively expressed a great deal of affection towards him (this is very unlike me!) luckilly he was very receptive to my random hugs and hand holding. I just wanted to touch him...I was very tactile...it was most unusual (for me and him! lol). We've been together for several months but I hate keeping tabs on just how long.

He came into the pie shop I was working in at the time, and recognised me from church (I didn't have a clue who he was!!)
He was American, and said he attended the church from time to time, so I assumed he was a business-man in his 30s who constantly flitted back and forth between America and Australia. LOL!!! He was actually 19 at the time (and so was I!!) There was no attraction whatsoever in that inital meeting, but as I saw him more and more, I became intrigued. Then I got to know him and BAM! I was head over heels...

His first impression of me? I was singing in the choir at church, and he thought I was the most colourful person on stage. At the time he saw me, he really was only visiting Australia for a few weeks, so that was like a year before I even met him. I was amazed that when I did finally meet him, he'd recognised me from that long ago....

I thought,"he looks like an anime..almost drawn onto skin,so perfect and mysterious" then he began to talk and my impression was SWEET and SARCASTIC! we've known eachother a long time,I broke up with him and have recently become drawn to our relationship again as it was a fun and crazy one. I know his first impression of me was--> Bible Blonde.He thought I was a typical Mormon.hahaha He thought wrong.
