I did admit in my post that it is possible that there are others I don't know about. But unless I am living in a secret transgendered bubble, I think that is unlikely. As I said, I know a few transgendered women personally, and I am pretty sure they are the only people I know well who are transgendered.
Again, most transsexuals are not going to advertise who they are. You could definitely know several more. Regardless, anecdotal evidence is not evidence.
But as I said, saying they "pass" as female is a straw man. It doesn't matter if they "pass" or not - what matters is the person in the event we are discussing didn't "pass", otherwise there would have been no issue.
Clearly not in this instance.
You are assuming facts that are not in evidence. In fact, I think the story indicates the transsexual passed very well -- otherwise the girl would not have been so surprised to see male genitals.
Or maybe they could try prayer.
You're kidding yourself if you think that has not been tried by a large number of transsexuals, with no success. This type of thinking is very similar to those who used to believe the mentally ill were "evil" and "possessed" because they could not pray themselves (or be prayed) to be better.
