Well one of them is wrong. The other two probably. And I could be too.
Well...that's a start.

But as the plan to have a man (the antichrist) lead the world, was always totally dependant on technology, and that technology now exists, I think the time is nigh!
So...Gods plans have always been dependent on man?
tulc(suspects that's not even sort of true) :sorry:

You must live on a different planet to me, Cromulent!
Enlightened social structures? Standard of living? Developments in science?
Sure people live longer, but I see wage slaves, mortgage slaves, social breakdown, increased violence, increased child abuse, dumbed down, medicated children who wouldn't know history if it slapped them in the face (let alone where a carrot comes from!). I see monstrous weapons being developed, more and more centralisation of power... and...

... people thinking the world is getting better!

So you'd prefer to live in the 1800s? How about the Middle Ages? Maybe the 1930s even. A great time so long as you weren't black, Jewish, gay, or a woman!

...or poor.

Or (depending on time and place for some) Romani, Irish, red haired, left handed, elderly and anything but rich, widowed, orphaned, fond of cats, knowledgeable of herbs...

And that writing abracadabra was considered a cure, while actually knowing real cures was considered witchcraft.

Sadly true.

Would you rather live 100/200 years ago?
Personally, i wish i was living 100 years in the future.
But i guess that's mainly out of curiosity.:)

There are certainly aspects of a lot of parts of history that I would prefer to the modern world. But the benefits of the modern world are too important to ignore.

What I really want is a somewhat isolated house in a woodsy area not far from a significant city, where I can live in an old-fashioned way, but I still have access to modern conveniences and hospitals if necessary.

I used to live in a place a lot like that, but the job market was horrendous and I had to move.

I think a lot of people like that feeling of... independence? I guess you'd call it.

Would be quite relaxing to me.
Although to be honest i think that's because i'm an introvert and not too social.

Relaxing in some ways, not in others, I think. It means taking a lot of responsibility for doing things from scratch that most people don't even think twice about.

But, it also means minimal participation in exploitative social practices, and a self-sufficient compound in case zombies attack.

An extremely undervalued characteristic in today's society.

Living in such a large and populous city is a little unnerving when you consider such a scenario.:o

It's true I was also learning about this at the Illuminati Institute for Higher Learning. I was being trained in guillotine operation because they said every conspiracy member would be needed to pull off the massive work they have ahead of us. I just don't think I can go through with it though.

They must of thought because you don't believe in God that you are anti-Christian.
They'll be sending them to the guillotines first you know?

I just couldn't see myself guillotining my Christian family members. Sounds like it would be a bummer.

Obviously they haven't finished programming you yet.
It will be fiiiiiiine.:p

How well can you swim?

Mind you... rising sea levels, plastic water proof coffins...

Zombies paddling their coffins through the water to reach people hiding on isolated islands
