Hello. As I was reading several of the posts I find myself encouraged. Thank you for your posts. This has been a hard week for me and staying in his presence has been challengeing. As I read these posts about selfishness and the world and holiness I finallly felt the presence of the Holy Spirit. Sometimes it's hard to get out of selfishness, especially self pity. I'm new. I'm not sure about the rules of this forum. I hope I haven't offended anyone. Be Blessed.

Hello. I'm so glad you came onto this thread. Even more glad you were strengthened and felt the presence of the Holy Spirit. I give Him praise for that. I couldn't hope for anything more from this thread than to hear people are encouraged.

It's been a wonderful day here, a very special day in our lives. My daughter was baptized today. My son came over early in the morning, her daddy took off from work, and we all rode together to church. Yesterday was my husband's first day off from work in 14 days! He took off for my birthday and to be there for her baptism.
