First of all it must be clearly understood that words have be change in the Bible to cause these false claims that YAHWEH had more than two days that were named Sabbath. One was the weekly Sabbath, the other was an annual sabbath in which YAHWEH called our sabbath or a sabbath. I urge you as I have pleaded with others to check out first EGW stated:

This paragraph is a perfect example of how you are trying to "correct" Adventists - even correcting" Ellen White. How can you say you yourself believe her, when you constantly "correct" her writings to read the way YOU think they should be worded? Ellen White uses the Word "God" throughout this paragraph you supposedly "quoted" and here is the proof, with a little more context than what you were willing to provide:

I cannot understand why some here claim that they believe EGW but they actually don't. They become angry because I just replace the Sacred Names which in no way change the sentences or the thought. She clearly saw that learned men had changed words. So what words have they changed? Why they changed the Hebrew word called the Holy Appointed Set Times to the word in English feast and seasons. Both of these words are deceptive and throws out what is actually declare by ELOHIM. Seasons is found in Gen 1:14 and in Lev 23:4 and the word feast(s) is first used in Ex 12:14, 23:14-16, 34:18, 22; Lev 23:2, 4. The reasons why these words are so deceptive is both their meaning and how they are word used for pagan activities or services. First let's look at the English words, first seasons its meaning and its origin.

The Roman crucifixion was widely feared as the worst of the worst. And it was good enough for Jesus so quit trying to deny our Lord by changing his truth into a lie about the cross He was crucified on not really being a cross.

and that really really does change the meaning a lot! There is no way you can be believed, as long as you continue to attack us like this with such blatantly false and misleading eisegesis.

You left out a lot of very important context from the Seventh-day Adventist Commentary. Your's is a good example of "cherry-picking" quotes. Immediately after this partial quote you submitted we read:

The sabbath of the Lord.
This is the equivalent of, “it is the Lord’s sabbath,” and indicates proprietorship. If God should have spoken of the first day of the week as “my holy day,” or “the sabbath of the Lord,” none today would be uncertain as to what He meant. Instead, He uses these very expressions in regard to the seventh day. It is His day.​

5. The Lord’s passover.
The Passover was not instituted until the deliverance of Israel from Egypt (Ex. 12:14, 27). It commemorated the saving power of God exercised in their behalf on that historic occasion, and was therefore for them “the Lord’s passover.” In striking contrast, “the sabbath of the Lord” became such when, at the close of creation week, God Himself rested upon that day and set it apart for the use and benefit of all mankind (Gen. 2:1–3; Ex. 20:8–11; Mark 2:27, 28). All men owe their very existence to the creative power of God and are therefore under obligation to Him to keep ever holy His appointed day of rest.​

As stated, the Passover was instituted in memory of Israel’s deliverance from Egyptian bondage. On the 10th day of the first month a lamb was selected for each household “according to the number of the souls,” or if the household was small, two or more households could unite for one sacrifice. The lamb was kept until the 14th day, when it was killed in the late afternoon, and its blood sprinkled on the doorposts (see on Ex. 12:1–10). The same night the flesh was eaten, not boiled as usual, but roasted. Only unleavened bread could be used, with bitter herbs (v. 8). In later years there were modifications in this ritual, but it remained essentially the same.​

The Passover sacrifice is distinguished by being called “my sacrifice” (Ex. 23:18; 34:25). The Passover commemorated Israel’s departure from Egypt. But it also looked forward to “Christ our Passover,” who was to be “sacrificed for us” (1 Cor. 5:7).In various respects the Passover fitly foreshadowed the crucifixion. At the crucifixion not a bone of Christ’s body was broken (John 19:36); not a bone of the Passover lamb might be broken (Ex. 12:46; Num. 9:12).

The Passover lamb was slain the 14th day of Abib and eaten the same night (Ex. 12:6–10); Christ died at Passover time (John 19:14). The sprinkling of the blood meant a “passing over” in mercy, a deliverance from death (Ex. 12:13); so through Christ’s blood there has been a passing over of sins committed and confessed (Rom. 3:25). The Passover sacrifice was a lamb (Ex. 12:3); so Christ was “the Lamb of God” (John 1:29). The lamb was to be without blemish (Ex. 12:5); Christ was without blemish (1 Peter 1:19). Its flesh was to be eaten (Ex. 12:7); likewise we must partake of His flesh (John 6:51).​

The Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread are replete with gospel truth. In the slain lamb provision was made for saving the first-born. But the death of the lamb was not enough to assure salvation; the blood must be struck on the doorpost.​

The Passover is symbolic of Christ’s death. He is our Passover (1 Cor. 5:7). On the cross He made provision for everyone to be saved. But the cross in and of itself saves no one. It only made salvation available (see John 1:12). The death of the lamb provided the means of salvation; the application of the blood made efficacious the means provided. Both were necessary. Thus for the Christian the atonement on the cross, though essential and sufficient for all, does not save any individual until there has been an individual application of the blood.

The sprinkling of the blood was fully as important as the death of the lamb. Yet even this was not enough; the flesh must be eaten, and it must be eaten under the specified conditions (Ex. 12:11). And this was not enough; all leaven must be purged away. Carelessness in the least particular would be fraught with tragic results (Ex. 12:13, 19, 23).​

It is one thing to be saved from death. It is another to have the means of sustaining life. This was provided positively by eating the lamb; negatively, by abstaining from leaven. Christ is “the living bread which came down from heaven,” of which a man must eat if he would “live for ever” (John 6:51). The lamb was to be roasted entire (Ex. 12:9). For each lamb there was to be a sufficient number of people so that all the flesh would be eaten (Ex. 12:4). Nothing was to be carried out of the house, and nothing left until morning. Whatever remained of those parts that could not be eaten was to be burned (Ex. 12:10, 46).

Similarly, the Christian must assimilate completely the life of the One represented by the lamb. This means the entire identification of the believer with Christ. It means accepting fully the life and character of Jesus.​

The NT counterpart of the Passover is found in the Lord’s Supper, the communion service. After Christ had come, there could be no more virtue in slaying the Passover lamb, which prefigured His coming. But there would be virtue in commemorating the sacrifice of Calvary and its sustaining power. For this reason our Lord instituted the symbolic meal of communion, the purpose of which is to remind us of the provision made for our salvation upon the cross. Like its prototype, it points both backward and forward—we are to remember Calvary “till he come” (1 Cor. 11:26).​

6. The feast of unleavened bread.
Closely connected with the Passover, yet distinct from it, was the Feast of Unleavened Bread, which followed. For practical purposes the two feasts were considered as one, and the names are often used interchangeably. But in purpose they were somewhat different. The Passover stood for deliverance (Ex. 12:13); the unleavened bread was reminiscent of the haste in which Israel left Egypt (Ex. 12:33, 39; Deut. 16:3). God was explicit as to the manner in which the Feast of Unleavened Bread should be celebrated (Ex. 12:15). Of it Paul later said, “Let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth” (1 Cor. 5:8).​

Leaven was to be entirely excluded. It represents malice and wickedness (1 Cor. 5:8), and false doctrine, as exemplified in the teachings of the Pharisees, the Sadducees, and the Herodians (Matt. 16:6, 12; Mark 8:15). The leaven of the Pharisees isgreed and injustice (Matt. 23:14), a dog-in-the-manger spirit (v. 13), false zeal (v. 15), wrong estimates of spiritual values (vs. 16–22), omission of justice, mercy, and faith (v. 23), vain punctiliousness (v. 24), hypocrisy (vs. 25–28), intolerance (vs. 29–33), and cruelty (vs. 34–36). The leaven of the Sadducees is skepticism (Matt. 22:23) and a lack of knowledge of the Scriptures and of the power of God (v. 29). The leaven of the Herodians is flattery, worldly-mindedness, and hypocrisy (vs. 16–21), and plotting evil against God’s representatives (Mark 3:6).​

7. No servile work.
The first and last days of the feast were days of holy convocation on which no “laborious work” (RSV) might be done. Each day two bullocks were offered, one ram, and seven lambs for a burnt offering, with their accompanying cereal offerings, and one goat for a sin offering (Num. 28:19–24).​

10. A sheaf of the firstfruits.
The presentation of the first fruits was a part of the celebration of the days of unleavened bread. The presentation took place on the “morrow after the sabbath,” the 16th of Abib (ch. 23:11). This day was neither a “holy convocation” nor a “sabbath.” But an important work was nevertheless done on that day. On the 14th day of Abib a certain portion of a field of barley was marked off to be cut down in preparation for the presentation on the 16th. Three select men cut the barley in the presence of witnesses, having already tied the sheaves together before cutting them. After being cut the sheaves were all tied together into one large sheaf and presented before the Lord as a “sheaf of the firstfruits.”

In addition, a perfect male lamb, a cereal offering mingled with oil, and a drink offering were presented to God (vs. 12, 13). Not until this was done could Israel make use of the fruits of the field for themselves. This ceremony pointed to “Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming” (1 Cor. 15:23).​

14. A statute for ever.
A summary of the Passover ritual lends emphasis to the great central truths of Christianity. The Passover is symbolic of the death of Christ. As the Passover lamb died, so Christ died. The blood of the lamb delivered Israel of old from the destroying angel. The blood of Christ now reconciles all who come to Him in faith.​

The Passover is also symbolic of the resurrection, as typified in the wave sheaf. The lamb died on the evening of the 14th day of Abib. On the 16th, the “morrow after the sabbath,” the first fruits, previously cut, were presented before the Lord. Christ died Friday afternoon and rested in the grave over the Sabbath (Luke 23:53–56). On the morrow after the Sabbath (Luke 24:1) Christ “the firstfruits” (1 Cor. 15:20) was raised from the grave, and presented Himself before His heavenly Father (John 20:17).​

The “morrow after the sabbath” (Lev. 23:11) was neither “an holy convocation” nor a “sabbath,” in type or antitype, yet an important work was done on that day. When Christ arose on the first day of the week He ascended to the Father to hear the words of God’s acceptance of His sacrifice.The Passover promoted fellowship. The eating of the Passover lamb brought families and neighbors together. It was a communal meal typifying deliverance, and deliverance called for consecration. All sin must be put aside. No leaven was to remain in the house. Every corner must be examined for traces of it.

Nothing less than complete “holiness to the Lord” would be accepted (see Ps. 29:2; 96:9). The Passover was a most solemn occasion.All this, and more, the Passover meant to Israel of old. The Lord’s Supper should mean no less to us today. There is grave danger that we forget, or fail to appreciate, the wonderful blessings God has in store for those who worthily partake of the ordinances of the Lord’s house. We would do well to study the Passover as given to Israel, that we may appreciate the more Him who is our real Passover Lamb, and whose death is commemorated in the communion service.

15. Seven sabbaths.
That is, seven weeks (see v. 16).

16. Fifty days.
This feast came on the 50th day after the presentation of the wave sheaf on the 16th of Abib, that is, on the 6th day of the third month—late in May or early in June. It was known as the “feastof weeks,” or “firstfruits” (Ex. 34:22). In NT times it was known as “Pentecost,” from a Greek word meaning “fifty.”As the wave sheaf was presented at the beginning of the harvest, before any of the new yield might be used, so Pentecost marked the end of the harvest season, though some grain might remain to be harvested in the higher mountains. It was the joyous acknowledgment of Israel’s dependence upon God as the giver of all good gifts. At this time it was not a sheaf that was presented, but two wave loaves of fine flour, baked with leaven, together with seven lambs, a bullock, and two rams (Lev. 23:17, 18). These were accompanied by a goat for a sin offering and two lambs for a peace offering (v. 19).

In the Passover celebration no leaven was to be eaten or to be found in the homes of the people. At Pentecost two loaves were to be presented, “baken with leaven” (v. 17). The wave sheaf is Christ “the firstfruits” (see on v. 14). He was without sin.Pentecost symbolizes the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. As the wave loaves were offered 50 days, inclusive, after the wave sheaf, so there were 50 days, inclusive, between the resurrection of Christ and the outpouring of the Spirit on Pentecost (Acts 2:1–4). Forty of these days Christ spent on earth instructing and helping His disciples (Acts 1:3). Then He ascended, and for 10 days the 11 disciples continued in prayer and supplication, until “the day of Pentecost was fully come.” With Pentecost came the fullness of the Spirit (Acts 1:8; 2:4).

At Pentecost the labors of the disciples were added to those of Christ, and the result was glorious for the kingdom of heaven.These ten days were important ones for the church on earth. They were also important in heaven. When Christ “ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men” (Eph. 4:8). Those who had been raised at Christ’s death and had come “out of the graves after his resurrection” ascended with Him to heaven, and were then presented before the Father a kind of first fruits of the resurrection (Matt. 27:52, 53).

I have not changed anything but substituted the Sacred Names so please show me any sentence I changed to make it mine. Saying ELOHIM instead of god has not changed the sentence nor YAHWEH for lord or capitalizing any word reflecting and acknowledging the THREE ALMIGHTY ONES. You have the problem and again nick picking because this is all you can do, simple.

Prove it show me that is what they used, I have a decree in Ancient History and the evidence shows otherwise. So just give me the historical evidence and not some theological thought. Archeological evidence plus the ancient peoples writings are more factual don't you think? Didn't HE die on a tree according to the Bible? Who are the Laodiceans that the SDA say they are? I have presented all through the ages it was the Church of that time who rebel against the Commandments of YAHWEH and so have the SDA Church, they are exempt. Are you going to say that ELOHIM need to desist from exertion of HIS Work due to being tired? I hope you don't actually believe this and realize that the word used is incorrect. Here is a much better meaning of the word:

Cease work or movement in order to relax, refresh oneself, or recover strength. Oxford Dictionary

The two word together is to cease work, ELOHIM cease from Creating while we cease from labor and exertion that is due to sin.

The Hebrew word is shaw-bath' and it is the root word that shabbâth comes from and if you understand that verbs in Hebrew set the structure of the sentence and its meaning more so then in our language. It is not hard understand the context and syntax today because it all on the internet and been made easy to understand. There are some translations of the Bible who also provide transliteration of the word. They also take the word look at the transliteration and the sentence structure base on the ancient Hebrew language. So I have numerous of Bibles, Interlinear Bibles, Lexicons which I had to learn in the university. Today again so much technology has provided what I have learned easier even for youth. When I read about ELOHIM rested I also know that it also means to celebrate as it refers in this text:

Let the children of Israel keep the Sabbath, and celebrate it in their generations. It is an everlasting covenant between ME and the children of Israel, and a perpetual sign. For in six days YAHWEH made Heaven and earth, and in the Seventh HE ceased from work. Ex 31:16, 17 (DRB)

shaw-bath' - A primitive root; to repose, that is, desist from exertion; used in many implied relations (causatively, figuratively or specifically): - (cause to, let, make to) cease, celebrate, cause (make) to fail, keep (sabbath), suffer to be lacking, leave, put away (down), (make to) rest, rid, still, take away. Do you see the word to celebrate which again makes the reader to understand the Sabbath much better. Instead of using rest a better word is cease and the word observe the better word is celebrated. This is understanding and not interpretation as you constantly do not seem to know the different meaning of these two words. I get a better understanding of the thought with the correct words. Now I know like the song we teach our children: "Sabbath is a happy day"! We cease from labor not go to bed and sleep but stop from labor. We allow our bodies to relax but we still have something to do and that is to assemble for worship and study. Well, this is the only version out of quite a few that I have just checked which words Gen 1:14 this way so we have to read it in context and along with other pertinent scriptures.

Gen 1:14 is written within the context of creation week, when JESUS (not Elohim) was creating the world and to try to use this one verse, Gen 1:14 to make a whole doctrine is not being fair to the meaning of this passage in Genesis at all.

Here is the KJV of Gen 1:14:
Gen 1:14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
Almost every single version words vs 14 like or similar to this. You will need more than just this one verse from the Bible to prove Gen 1:14 is talking about the feast days and sabbath days that were shadows of things to come; and therefore done away with on Calvary by The Man on the middle cross. :)

You know what is so sad about you is that you do not even get the point while attempting to make a joke. This makes what you write totally senseless. First of I nor the Papacy set time ELOHIM did in Creation. Secondly if you truly understood science you would know that everything is govern by the moon and not the sun. Secondly the sun was made for things to grow with the cooperation of the moon. Farmers have used the almanac before it was written which is how you grow things including the hair on your body. Tides also are govern by the moon. It is the Sun who set daily time but is the orbit of the moon that makes the monthly time even in the Gregory calendar. Now in order to come with special set holidays which means days that are holy you need the moon. Now for your comet remark I do use a correct calendar following the principles of ELOHIM'S Statute of Time. Here is a history lesson and again I truly hope you do not be offended but just learn something that is true.

There were no various times before the fall of man. The climate was the same year round and dew came up to water the world at that time.

And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for YAHWEH ELOHIM had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground. But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground. Gen 2:5, 6

It was after the flood that YAHWEH change and brought the various type of we truly call seasons or set times base on climate change. Again man attempts to set these times and they can't because they are govern by the moon that works along with the sun. We try to govern them by the equinoxes but it is still cold for spring or too hot for autumn. Winter can come to soon or it stay on longer than expected. YAHWEH never told us to use the equinoxes but this:

Now after the flood with all the water that needed to be control wind that cause both the north and south pole to freeze a large amount of the water and oceans. Many of the land mass is below the sea which causes earthquakes, volcanoes eruption in the oceans and tusmi, hurricanes, typhoons and other types of catastrophes around the world. YAHWEH had to get thing in check for man to continue to grow things so this was now instituted:

While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease. Gen 8:22

These various times overlap and are not given a set time but as the moon and sun together determines them, not man! The problem with the Gregory calendar it is not in line with the moon and you have leaps year. If done correctly we have an extra month every nine year cycle that will bring everything back equal-simple. We follow this practice to get to the Day of Atonement by using the correct calendar from the Karaites. These are the Israelites who keep time according YAHWEH'S Statutes. So the SDA know a lot about the time even if they don't obey today they did once. That's what so sad about this whole thing how they kept HIS Commandments to understand the Investigate Judgment but keep them now even when ELOHIM reveal them even more in the 1888 message.

You show me in the Bible where ELOHIM call any of the Holy Appointed Days except two the Sabbath and a sabbath. The first is the Seventh day Sabbath, the second is Atonement and this one was call a or our sabbath. The other Holy Appointed Set Times were Holy Convocation the word Sabbath or sabbath was never used. The one that was stated be a sabbath was the Blowing of the Trumpet and the eighth day of Tabernacle but the word was incorrect and one that should have been used correctly is the Hebrew word shabbathon. These were special days and told why before.
You want other Scriptures here they are with the correct word beside them Hebrew which is the same word. Also the proof that the word Statutes is a Command of ELOHIM. Included is the definition for the Hebrew word again:

And if that is your only evidence against what I posted, then it's an even bigger mistake. I have gone back to your original comments to supply answers. I pull the main comments that truly needed to be address. There are in Two Parts!

Neither do they see the clear limitation which the Bible sets for this moral code by calling it the TEN Commandments. . . . .ninety or a hundred others and calling them “ordinances” instead of commandments.

First of all lets us get one thing straight about the word ten. The Bible is a book of repetition and also you will never find YAHSHUA, YAHWEH or any other prophet nor apostles using the unit word ten. This word is only found in two books of Moses Ex 34:28; Deut 4:13; 10:4. First of all why didn't ELOHIM ever mention that there were ten or even HIS SON? That would be our first concern also John who spoke about them the most? I provided for you that the unit ten is not the correct meaning provided here. I would hope that you would at least try to understand my profession. History is an art of studying the past and as a Biblical Historian I carefully and prayerfully study the Bible. What set those who are not bias in my profession is those who truly believe the Bible is the Holy Word of ELOHIM, we become more precise in our studying and research. Then those who believe in the visions and spiritual gifts of EGW, Hiram Edison and Miller Williams along with many other spiritual fed pioneers makes us even more in depth. It is a challenge and an honor to get at the truth and the facts of what the Bible is saying in its original language. You cannot separate that there have been major cover ups due to sin. I cannot understand why any SDA will not accept this more than others is shocking and sad. We more than any one should understand Acts 2:16-18 and Joel 2:28, 29 because it is one of the foundation of our beliefs! Then we come to Rev 3:15-18 that points directly to us and here we are changed, unbelieving, rebellious, stubborn, bias, loveless, impatient, unkind, piteous, and on and on! Yet, I know that there are thousands who have not bowed their knees to modern Baal. I believe that that there are some on this forum. These are the ones I hope will check out the sources I provide diligently because of their love for the MOST HIGH through the POWER of the HOLY SPIRIT. It is my prayer for you too will change and just be humble and open minded as well.

I will attempt to provide you with information concerning the system of ten that the Hebrew word used here is consider a cardinal number that mean more then or times. Again here is the simple definition:

For H6235; ten (only in combination), that is, the “teens”; also (ordinal) a “teenth”: - [eigh-, fif-, four-, nine-, seven-, six-, thir-] teen (-th), + eleven (-th), + sixscore thousand, + twelve (-th).

A cardinal number (Ex. 18:21) is usually indistinguishable that is it used as in a composite number greater than ten.

As you well know, many words in the English language have multiple meanings. For example, trunk could refer to an elephant’s nose, an automobile’s storage compartment, a part of a tree, or a big case for saving things. The word’s context determines its precise meaning.

The Ten Commandments
These commandments are not the whole of the law, but they are the foundation for all the rest of the law and in that sense they sum up the entire law. It is worth noting that the total number of words in the ten commandments (Exodus 20:3-17) is 132. This is exactly twice 66, the number of books in the Bible. Further the sum of the verse numbers is (3 +4 +5 +6 +7 +8 +9 +10 +11 +12 +13 +14 +15 +16 +17 = 150) one hundred and fifty, the number of Psalms in the book of Psalms. This points to the fact that the "Law" was not complete without the wisdom writings, and the Scripture not complete until the books of the New Testament were also completed. The number of verses used to give the ten commandments is (17 - 2 = 15) fifteen, exactly one tenth of the sum of those verses. It may be mere coincidence that the numeric value of the first commandment is 696, which is equal to the sum of the tenth triangular number (55) plus the tenth square number (100) plus the tenth hexagram (541). i.e. 696 = 55 + 100 + 541. God made known this distinction to His servant Moses, and Moses explained it to the people at Mt. Horeb. Any child can discern that two different laws are being described.Daniel was inspired to make the same careful distinction. No one can confuse this writing with the way the mosaic law was produced.

Here you are correct there is a definite distinction between the Commands YAHWEH told Moses to write in a book and place them on the outside of the Ark. This same book of laws was also given to the priest as well. (Deut 31:9, 24-26)

This book of statutes and judgments which Moses wrote in a book was placed in a pocket on the side of the ark. In contrast, the law written by God on tables of stone was placed inside the ark of the covenant.

Here you are totally incorrect Moses was not given statutes or judgments to be place in a book. The instructions Moses were given were laws on sacrificial and oblations procedures. (Neh 8:1, 2) Moses laws also dealt with other special procedures or rituals, ceremonies that were to be carried out on all Appointed Holy Set Times which included the weekly Sabbath and the forms of worship as well as all priestly services. (Neh 8:14-17)

Now let’s take a closer look at the ceremonial ordinances that Moses wrote in the book. They were to repose in the “side of the ark ... for a witness against thee.” It is interesting to note that the curses and judgments of this law spelled out penalties for transgression which were totally missing from the Ten Commandments. For this reason, the ceremonial law was considered to be a law which was “against” them. Even in the New Testament we read the same descriptive language in reference to that law. (Colossians 2:14).

Yes in those laws were handwritten things that were against them. How to kill an innocent lamb and other rituals of that sort. This was a very messy and tedious job to look a baby lamb, dove or other required animals in the eye and to slay them yourself first. Also the smell must have been unbelievable even with all of the perfume and incent provided to tone it down. (Isa 1:11)

In the New Testament Church there was a lot of contention over the subject of circumcision, which was a major requirement of the ceremonial law. In Acts 15:5 . . . As all recognize, this could not be referring in any sense to the Ten Commandments. They do not even mention circumcision. (1 Corinthians 7:19).

All this is saying that whether you are circumcised or not the importance now to both is the obedience to YAHWEH'S Law!

(Ezekiel 20:24, 25) Observe carefully how the prophet identifies the Sabbath law, and then immediately says, “I gave them ALSO statutes that were not good.” Keep in mind that the Ten Commandments were called “holy, and just, and good” (Romans 7:12).

Now I cannot see how you can say this at all! The people despise HIS Judgments, nor walked in HIS Statutes and polluted ELOHIM'S Sabbaths by going after idols of their choosing. Ezekiel then states that ELOHIM did not destroy them in the wilderness but again gave them a chance and reminded their children not to follow in their father's statutes and judgment to these false idol. Because they refuse to obey ELOHIM remove HIS protection and scatter them allowing them to be taken by the heathen nations. Israel then was force to follow these evil nations' judgments and statutes that polluted YAHWEH'S Holy Sabbath by these false idols! (Eze 20:3-44) I know you will not believe me so let me provide it from other sources as well:

These are not the “statutes, … which if a man do, he shall even live in them” (v. 11). They are not any part of the Mosaic law. This is evident from the reference to the consecration of children to Molech in v. 26. The statutes the people had adopted, which were not good, came from the heathen round about them. But how can it be said that God gave these to them? In Bible figure, many acts are attributed to God, not with the idea that He actually performs them, but from the point of view that in His omnipotence and omniscience He does not prevent them. An understanding of this principle helps to explain many apparently contradictory statements, which, like the one here under consideration, seem to contradict flatly the Bible teaching that God’s character is pure and holy (see Isa. 63:17; 2 Thess. 2:11, 12).
Attempts have been made to apply this text to the multitude of ceremonies and ordinances of the Mosaic law, which, if Israel had been obedient and had loved to keep God’s commandments, would not have been required (see 5T 666, 667). But the provisions of the Mosaic code can hardly be designated “statutes that were not good,” for the former were already in existence when Ezekiel made this pronouncement. Furthermore, the ceremonial law was given by Christ Himself, and was worthy of its divine author. Paul himself declares this law glorious. Conclusion: God takes it as an affront when those come to inquire of Him who are resolved to go on in their trespasses. He is indeed long-suffering with sinners, and it is owing purely to His mercy, which guards His own glory, that they are not immediately made an end of. Contempt for Law Shows Contempt for LAWGIVER.—Those who trample upon ELOHIM'S Authority, and show open contempt to the Law given in such grandeur at Sinai, virtually despise the LAWGIVER, the great YAHWEH. …
By transgressing the Law which ELOHIM had given in such Majesty, and amid Glory which was unapproachable, the people showed open contempt of the great LAWGIVER, and death was the penalty (3SG p. 294, 300).

In consequence of continual transgression, the Moral Law was repeated in awful grandeur from Sinai. The MESSIAH gave to Moses religious Precepts which were to govern everyday life. These Statutes were explicitly given to guard the ten Commandments. They were not shadowy types to pass away with the death of the MESSIAH. They were to be binding upon men in every age as long as time should last. These Commands were Enforced by the Power of the Moral Law, and they clearly and definitely explained that Law (ST April 15, 1875).

Ancient Instruction to Be Studied.—The instructions given to Moses for ancient Israel, with their sharp, rigid outlines, are to be studied and obeyed by the people of ELOHIM today (Letter 259, 1903).

FATHER by Side of SON in Giving Law.—When the law was spoken, the YAHWEH, the CREATOR of Heaven and earth, stood by the side of HIS SON, enshrouded in the fire and the smoke on the Mount. It was not here that the Law was first given; but it was proclaimed, that the children of Israel, whose ideas had become confused in their association with idolaters in Egypt, might be reminded of its terms, and understand what constitutes the true worship of YAHWEH (ST Oct. 15, 1896).

Become Familiar With Levitical Law.—We are to become familiar with the Levitical law in all its bearings; for it contains Rules that must be obeyed; it contains the Instruction that if studied will enable us to understand better the Rule of faith and practice that we are to follow in our dealings with one another. Again the people were reminded of the sacred obligation of the Sabbath. Yearly Holy Appointed Set Times were appointed, at which all the men of the nation were to assemble before YAHWEH, bringing to HIM their offerings of gratitude and the first fruits of HIS bounties. The object of all these regulations was stated: they proceeded from no exercise of mere arbitrary sovereignty; all were given for the good of Israel. The ceremonial law was thus given to Moses, and by him written in a book. But the law of Ten Commandments spoken from Sinai had been written by ELOHIM Himself on the tables of stone, and was sacredly preserved in the ark.
There are many who try to blend these two systems, using the texts that speak of the ceremonial law to prove that the moral law has been abolished. . .
Those who claim that The MESSIAH came to abrogate the law of ELOHIM and to do away with the Old Testament, speak of the Jewish age as one of darkness, and represent the religion of the Hebrews as consisting of mere forms and ceremonies. But this is an error. PP 364-366

All can see clearly that even those during the time EGW knew that the Statutes and Judgments were all part of YAHWEH'S Law and Commandment spoken first to Israel and then given to Moses by HIS OWN Hands. (Ex Chapters 20-23)

Neither do they see the clear limitation which the Bible sets for this moral code by calling it the TEN Commandments. . . . .ninety or a hundred others and calling them “ordinances” instead of commandments.

First of all lets us get one thing straight about the word ten. The Bible is a book of repetition and also you will never find YAHSHUA, YAHWEH or any other prophet nor apostles using the unit word ten. This word is only found in two books of Moses Ex 34:28; Deut 4:13; 10:4. First of all why didn't ELOHIM ever mention that there were ten or even HIS SON? That would be our first concern also John who spoke about them the most? I provided for you that the unit ten is not the correct meaning provided here.

You have provided plenty of false information by presuming to make these changes; and they most certainly do change the meanings. You don't need to be so busy "vindicating your name;" because the Bible tells us that we as Christians are to vindicate God's name. (as in character).

To be fair, in Exodus 20 where they are listed it doesn't actually say "The Ten Commandments" in the original Hebrew. It is only added above in Enlish translation above the text of Exodus 20 as a title.

We know that Moses didn't just receive those commandments from God he received many many more, though those were definitely the first ten received that were written down in stone by God's hand directly and as such the most important. I think debating about the number ten is all semantics really.

The first three commandments are to do with God, the last six to do with us and our relationship with each other, and the fourth commandment to keep the Sabbath holy, which is the sign between God and his people and links the first three with the last six. In James 2, he mentions two points, that the Decalogue is an indivisible unit of law, ie if you break one point you break them all.

The royal law that you should love your neighbour as yourself, he connects with the decalogue, showing that he sees it as a sumation of those particular points of the decalogue pertaining to human relationships ie the last six commandments, whereas the first four pertain to ones relationship with God.

That part of the law is sumarised in the command to love your neighbour as yourself. This also agrees perfectly with what Jesus said in Matthew 19 when asked about Eternal life by a rich young ruler.

Jesus replied to him to keep the commandments. When the rich man asked which commandments, Jesus named several from the Decalogue, especially those particularly pertaining to human relationships.

Jesus then sums up the Decalogue by saying "you should love your neighbour as yourself."

The same principle comes across clearly in Romans 13 where the apostle Paul tells gentile converts how they can fulfil the law ie keep the law. The law he is talking about, which is exactly the same that Jesus was summarising is the old testament commandments to do with relationships. Elsewhere he also clearly mentions and condemns idolatry, blasphemy, sacrilige and worshipping false Gods.

So obviously he believed, as did Jesus that the first four that were written down were binding as well as the last six. The conclusion from reading this and studying the texts are that the law of love and the ten commandments are synonymous.

It is impossible to say that one bunch of commandments belong to the old testament and another to the new, because the law of love is God's everlasting, his universal, his continual law. It is expressed in ten commandments in the old testament, and certainly carried forward clearly in the new testament.

We know God's law was there and around before Moses, because it is evident with Noah in Genesis. And we know that God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.
