Whether the source is someone who is concerned with honor and patriotism, or whether he or she is merely looking to avoid prison really doesn't matter. What matters is a severe security breach gets fixed. Secondarily, the perps involved need to spend a little time behind bars.

No record of it. Moreover, he returned some classified information to the National Archives when they called for it to be returned. If it was unclassified, he wouldn't have had to do that.

Yeah, it was dumb not do declassify some of it. But some of it would severely damange U.S. security if it was to be made public, and he seems to have had the sense to realize that when he stole the documents.
The National Archives is free to request records, as a matter of fact, the National Archives asked me for a copy of a record that they did not possess. Like President Trump, I was pleased to cooperate. Now think about it, would the president take the nuclear codes or anything else he might think if released would endanger our country? Just consider it, remembering that we have been through this scenario before, the press using anonymous sources in order to falsely discredit President Trump.

There is no security breach, there are federal agencies which are operating on their own against political opponents.

So the evidence indicates...
Trump Committed 'Serious' Crime If Found To Have Used IRS As Weapon: Tribe
A top legal expert has suggested it is "no coincidence" that former FBI Director James Comey and former Acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe, who were both fired by Donald Trump, were selected for a rare and intensive audit by the Internal Revenue Service.

Comey and McCabe were both subjected to random tax audits in 2017 and 2019, respectively.

However, as noted by The New York Times, the odds of being selected for the audit is around one in 30,600, raising questions on the likelihood that two high-ranking FBI officials who were previously fired by Trump, and that the former wanted to prosecute, both happened to be chosen.
Trump committed "serious" crime if found to have used IRS as weapon: Tribe
An independent office is now investigating to see who is responsible.
The warrant and the evidence submitted to a judge who approved the search warrant are a matter of public record. The IRS issue remains to be cleared up.

And the theft of classified information from the WH is of course a major security breach. It's why the National Archives and then the FBI were required to recover the stolen materials.

The National Archives is free to request records, as a matter of fact, the National Archives asked me for a copy of a record that they did not possess. Like President Trump, I was pleased to cooperate.

First, they didn't "request"; they told him that he needed to return the stolen material. Second, we now know that he didn't comply; he merely returned some of the stolen documents and kept others hidden. Apparently, someone in his organization notified authorities, who got a search warrant and found the documents he had hidden. It's all in the warrant and the receipts for the stolen classified documents they recovered. You can even see it on the net, now.
The FBI seized ultra ‘top secret’ documents in search of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago, including some that could cause ‘exceptionally grave’ damage to U.S. interests
WASHINGTON — The FBI recovered “top secret” and even more sensitive documents from former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, according to court papers released Friday after a federal judge unsealed the warrant that authorized the sudden, unprecedented search this week.

A property receipt unsealed by the court shows FBI agents took 11 sets of classified records from the estate during a search on Monday.

The seized records include some marked not only top secret but also “sensitive compartmented information,” a special category meant to protect the nation’s most important secrets that if revealed publicly could cause “exceptionally grave” damage to U.S. interests. The court records did not provide specific details about information the documents might contain.

The warrant says federal agents were investigating potential violations of three different federal laws, including one that governs gathering, transmitting or losing defense information under the Espionage Act.
The other statutes address the concealment, mutilation or removal of records and the destruction, alteration or falsification of records in federal investigations.

There does not have to be.

If there's no record, it didn't happen. Yes, Trump could have declassified this information, which included material that "if revealed publicly could cause “exceptionally grave” damage to U.S. interests" but he did not. For obvious reasons.

Sen. Tim Kaine says Trump and GOP's "violent" rhetoric about government after Mar-a-Lago search raises risk of "political mayhem" — "The Takeout"

In the aftermath of the FBI raid on former President Trump's Florida residence, Trump and like-minded Republicans have resorted to "extreme and violent" rhetoric or assertions about government motives that increase the risk of political mayhem, says Sen. Tim Kaine, Democrat of Virginia.
...
The interview was conducted Aug. 10, one day before a Trump protester who was in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 6, 2021 during the Capitol riot, attempted to infiltrate an FBI field office in Cincinnati, leading to an armed standoff and the suspect's death in a shootout with authorities.

Worse, Trump apparently revealed the identities of the FBI agents sent to search Mar-a-Lago:

Far-right media outlet slammed for publishing names of FBI agents in Trump raid

If another Trump supporter succeeds in harming an agent, there should be legal consequences for the people who made it possible.

The highly sensitive material that could cause grave damage to national interests is probably related to the investigation of Hunter Biden. It would cause grave damage to the FBI and the DOJ if the truth about Joe's involvement got out.

Is this where we talk about Antifa?

That story crashed and burned pretty quickly:

The new poll of 1,000 respondents conducted April 21-23 found that Trump is viewed as most responsible for the violence at the Capitol, with 45% deeming the former president liable for the hours-long siege of the seat of American government. Trump is blamed by 79% of Democrats and one-third (32%) of independents, as well as solid pluralities or majorities of all races, ages, genders and income and education levels.

The Republicans who responded in the poll have an entirely different view, however. Nearly a third (31%) of Republicans blame the Democratic Party for the violence at the Capitol. Antifa – the informal anti-fascist political activist group – was blamed by over one-fifth (22%) of Republicans, while 16% blamed the U.S. Capitol Police, who have reported that over 70 officers were injured in the siege.

“A little over 100 days since the shocking events that resulted in five deaths, scores of injured police officers, millions of dollars of damage to the U.S. Capitol and the temporary delay in the certification of the presidential election, close to 6-in-10 Americans describe the event as a ‘riot,’” says Tatishe Nteta, associate professor of political science at UMass Amherst and director of the poll. “Partisanship is a lens by which we see the political world, however, and unsurprisingly partisanship plays a central role in the ways that Americans describe the events that took place on January 6th.”

Notice that while republican leaders were pushing that hoax, even most rank-and-file republicans weren't buying the story.

Security experts told USA TODAY antifa was not involved in the Jan. 6 attack, and USA TODAY and other news outlets have repeatedly debunked the claim that antifa agitators played a role in the riot. The footage provides no evidence to support the claim. It shows pro-Trump rioters as the attack was underway; some of the rioters identified in the video are well-known Trump supporters.
Fact check: Video shows pro-Trump mob, not Antifa, inside Capitol

Yeah, if the Chinese were to find out Hunter was doing coke, that would be way worse than Trump outing U.S. nuclear weapons data. WFTH-I

Alright, what is your evidence that the Dems didn't look over or even condone or encourage the rioting?

Curious what type of espionage the FBI will find in the signed napkins and Picture albums they took.

Curious - the Feds tell Trump to put a specific lock on the storage door - he complies - they now claim obstruction because he put the lock on the door.

I'd be willing to look at your cliam that they did do any of that. Your standard of "guilty unless proven innocent" works in North Korea, but not in the U.S.

Nice try, though. Let's see what you have.
