Thats a tough one for me....there are certain things I like about all of them- Final Fantasy Tactics was Awesome, and so was FF9, But FF10 has to be one of the best. I am playing FF13 right now, and its pretty Solid...SUPER LINEAR though, not as free roaming as the other ones, but we will see where it goes from there =]

[Final Fantasy 9!!!!! I love it. Everything about my usual screename, to my avatars and signatures usually reflect that game. I have played it enough to memorize a lot of the dialogue. I am an AVID RPG gamer, and have played a lot of the Final Fantasy titles. The only ones I have not liked thus far have been 12, 10-2 and 8. FFVIII had a good love story, but the gameplay really sucks, in my opinion. I did eventually beat it, but I don't find it very fun to play, which is rather unfortunate. Oh, and for those who don't know, Hironobu Sakaguchi, the creator of the Final Fantasy series, left after FFX was made and started his own company, called Mistwalker. So if you ever noticed that FF games got really strange after 10, that's why. Some of the great games he has made with Mistwalker are games like Blue Dragon and Lost Odysee, both titles for the Xbox 360. He is currently working on 'The Last Story', a game for the Wii. It should come out sometime this year; he's been posting a lot of progress reports on his blogsite at Mistwalker corp. I hope this info is helpful to anyone that loves the FF series. You want a new FF game? Get some Mistwalker games, particularly Lost Odysee]

FF9 is my favorite as well. I like the whole mideival thing and it's the first final fantasy i ever played, plus the card game in FF9 was rather fun and a good way to pass the time when you wanted a break from the main story.

[Indeed Sir Phil. I find nearly everything about that game fun. Ozma is pretty hard though, and so is the level one challenge. I haven't finished that challenge yet, but I did make it clear to Lindblum. Speaking of the cardgame you like, which is called Tetra Master, go to Memoria on disc four, and walk around. There are invisible guys all over the place, whom have the BEST cards in the entire game. Beware though; they're really tough. One guy is in the frame that looks like outerspace. Just mash the X button until you find them. Oh, and you'll find the 'legendary synthesist' whom is actually Hades behind a large rock in the frame where Quina initially thought he was drowning in memoria. Hmmm, I've probably ranted on too long, forgive me. I don't get an opportunity to speak with many FFIX fans; we are a rare breed]

What I didn't like about it is fight two or three bosses in a row before being able to save the same. That kind of [wash my mouth][wash my mouth][wash my mouth][wash my mouth]ed me off. Oh and why is it that the last boss battle, that guy you face once and then face him again in trance mode. Why is he a lot harder to beat in his normal form and then he goes to trance and he is "easy as a bag a fruit cakes". Seriously, it took almost no effort at all from what I can remember. That first one when he is in his normal form a pretty hard though. Then again... I kept switching of my characters so they all were close to equal in level. I think they all got to around level 65 or 70 when I got to the end of the game. About 60 hours of gameplay I spent on my first playthrough.

[There are a few points during the game where it may seem you cannot save, but you can, you just have to look around a bit, as the moogles can be a bit hidden. For instance, when you defeat Ark at the end of the Oeilivert dungeon and have to sneak past the Hedgehog Pie as Cid, whom is a frog, you will have an opportunity to save before going through the Desert Palace. A moogle is placed in the room where you just were. They do this a few times. Also, if you play the game too much []like me >_>[] you can beat the game easily at level 30-40 with all your guys. There are many ways to hit 9999 on an enemy regardless of its' defense. You can do this with Quina as early as the Antlion fight during the Cleyra area. Freya has a move that will hit 9999 if you've killed enough dragons. If you've stolen enough things off enemies, a certain move of Zidane's will also hit 9999. Steiner's 'Shock' move tends to do 9999, but if you need you can use Minus Strike, which deals the difference between Steiner's current HP and max HP, so if he's got 1 HP out of 9999 he'll deal 9998 every time. Auto life makes this a lot easier, since killing one of your guys and bringing him back with a Phoenix down rarely brings you back at exactly 1 HP. Dark Matter, when thrown, will deal 9999 damage. Certain bosses can be killed with a single spell, sometimes the life spell. I could go on, but i've probably said enough. I get excited, do forgive]

Deadlock on these four:
7,8,9,10.

When I play these games, I'm looking for a good story because I will be playing them again. Which I eventually gave them and right now I wish I could go back. Graphics wise, 10 hands down. The best story .... dead lock.... These game had me going back and forth for a long time.

I love Crisis Core! haha
I like FFX and FFX-2. I liked Crystal Bearers some, but I haven't gotten too far in that one. xD I want to play FFXIII, FFXIII-2, and FF Versus XIII.

13 was good. Way to linear but good story. 13-2 was a lot more fun because they made it pretty open world. But the story was bat crap crazy.

7, 10 and 12 are prob my fave disk era games. 4, 5 and 6 are my fave cartridge era games.
