Thats true, thats why I find Childrens/Teen fantasy much more appealing.
Oh yes, another book I reccommend is the Once and Future King by T.H. White. I havent finished reading it yet, but its pretty good so far. Anyone who likes Tolkien or Rowling would probably like this one.
