Sad parts.. I dislike sad parts.. I was going to reference a certain sad part in a book, but I can't figure out how to make spoilers on this interface.. anyone to the rescue?

Yeah, I thought it was a good idea to get myself a sword. I am not a warrior, but something tells me I might need one. My journey is not an easy one... I must say that the heavens have been protecting me though.

There are little creatures in my world called lezgits; they live deep in the woods and avoid people. They can talk, too. I've never seen them, but I would really like to.

Ahh... fantasy books, my favourite genre. I'm rather fond of J.V Jones and Robin Hobb at the moment in ways of authors... Reading a Cavern of Black Ice at the moment, and'll be moving onto the sequel once I've finished it (only another 400 pages or so to go; halfway through!). Aside from that, Raymod E Feist and Elizabeth Moon are both excellent authors as well, and although I haven't read their works extensively, what I've read is excellent quality.

Ah, redwall! Glad to know other people read it. I adore these books, my favorite being Mossflower.

Vixen, you're talking about the The Enchanted Forest" series by Patricia C. Wrede, right? If so, then those books are a riot!
Another good author who writes humorous fantasy novels is Terry Pratchett. Hes the man responsible for the Discworld series. Everyone should go out and read The Amazing Maurice and His Educated Rodents. Funniest book I ever read.
