  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I see the same thing, with tele-evangelists and such about to lose their lucrative scams on the public as more people begin to think scientifically and distrust authoritations.
Not really! The more people turn from studying their Bibles, the more I see ignorance being led by men calling themselves christ and getting sucked into cults, including, scientology..........................

There are no such things as irrelavant data. Only that which is overlooked or ignored for the sake of someone's convenience.
If you keep bringing up other subjects unrelated to the topic, then that would be irrelevant no matter how much you ignore their non-relation.

What makes you think you're not in a cult?
Because, I don't believe you need to join or attend my club to know the truth. You only need to know GOD as a friend. You don't need a pope to do that.

I don't bring them up. I answer another's question.

No, I don't think I'm a socialist. How would I know if I am or not?
If you believe in socialized (government sponcered) medicine, education, housing, welfare, etc., That would make you a socialist.
Well, some of those sound like good ideas. But what if I don't agree with all of them?
And why would that matter either way?

Well?
Of course from my perspective, God is a fairy tale. But what does that have to do with what we were talking about? I mean, you tried to associate "evolutionists" with any seemingly-evil demographic you can think of, and you were wrong on every point, just like all creationist arguments always are. Why doesn't that fact ever bother any of you?

You insist on acting as though accepting evolution requires the rejection of God. You know this isn't true, but you insist on arguing theology in a forum dedicated to science. Your weirdly inappropriate and false allegations associating "evolutionists" with atheists, communist, nazis and anything else you think of as negative is therefore irrelevant, as well as demonstrably wrong in every case.

So according to Dictionary.com, you're already following a cult.

I requires a rejection of the Bible, that is the WORD of GOD, according even to JESUS CHRIST, who claimed to be GOD and my SAVIOR, ALL ONLY according to the BIBLE that is being ignored, and belittled. And the reality is that there is ample reason to believe that men of science are making mistakes. There is no reason to believe the book I accept as GOD inspired is not.

One does not have to accept me or a system I designed in order to be a Christian. All anyone needs to do is accept the LORD JESUS CHRIST. That is it. Anything can be a cult, using the definition you provided----even that of evolution or science study...

Wow are you folks inculcated into using those words. It's not the "truth" since to be "truth" it has to be able to be shown. But... back to the original statement. I'm not asking about me. I'm asking about you. What's to say you aren't in a cult?

Are you saying that people who believe in Theistic Evolution are not Real Christians? There are almost 3000 registered users on this site and million more in real life that have no problem with theistic evolution. Are you going to tell all of them that they aren't Chrisitians?

And the reality is that there is ample reason to believe that men of science are making mistakes. There is no reason to believe the book I accept as GOD inspired is not.
What evidence is being overlooked? It's been several weeks and we still haven't seen any positive scientific for Creationism.

You requires?

There are numerous reasons to assume that the book you accept as god inspired is not. Donkeys and snakes talking, serious deficiencies in accuracy (Genesis for example.) If a god you proclaim as a perfect being inspired this collection of filthy stories then either this god isn't perfect or it didn't inspire the book.

Truth is not only limited to things one sees, hears, or touches. Not everyone has seen a black hole. Does that make it truth or fiction?

You wouldn't know truth if it hit you in the head.

Not without erecting a mental wall between the two. It's impossible to believe that donkeys can talk, that a man was born of a woman who was a virgin, that this same man chased "demons" out of men and into pigs and magically killed a fig tree but still be scientifically minded.

Thinking scientifically doesnt mean you wont be ignorant or willfully ignorant.
Thinking religiously guarantees you will be.
