  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I agree, use a different brand... one where you aren't left scratching your head afterwards.

The first test I used was so simple, a dot either appeared or it didn't. If it appeared you are pregnant. Then my husband decided we should do another test just to be sure. So, we bought another brand where a cross was supposed to appear... well half the cross was dark and half was light and we were just all confused and decided to ignore that test.

In my opinion, simple tests are better!

Took another one this morning (First Response) and it was empty :( And after a second opinion, I was probably just seeing things.

Oh Well... it will happen when God wants it to happen.

 I'm still praying for you. Remember all in God's time...although I know how frustrating his time table can be at times. Maybe it's just too soon to test.

I would agree that it's too early to test.

I would say that a faint line is a positive, but only if it's read in the first 10 minutes or so. Because after that a faint line can appear but it is something to do with the test, and it's not that you're pregnant

Anyway, I would wait a few more weeks until you have skipped your period completely (as in it is around the time it would normally have FINISHED) and then test. (this is what I did and boy was it a positive line, bright pink or whatever colour it was ROFL. I did 3 of them because I could scarecely believe it)

When you get a positive, does it show up before the test line shows up? (I know it's placed before the test line on the stick) or does it sometimes take awhile?
When I tested positive, I seem to remember the line that indicates + showed up more slowly....

i tested 8 times b/c the first few were super faint. i did it and waited 10 minutes and came back and looked. the doc said it was so faint b/c it was before i even missed my period.... it was super early to be testing but the faint + i saw was a true one. good luck to you.

I tested 5 or so days early and I had a really faint line and I thought I was imagining it too so I tried another brand the next morning and I really had to strain to see a faint line. I tried yet another and it was a faint line again so I went in to get a blood test, which was + still a few days before my period was due. If you are covered, I would go get the doc to test so you don't drive yourself crazy (I know I did :) ) Good Luck!!
