I don't know if this is a silly question, but I'm in a very traditional marriage. My husband works, mows the lawn and takes the trash out. Those are his only jobs. I raised the baby myself and continue to take care of him by myself (he's 3), and I'm also in nursing school full time (will graduate in May). Additionally, we have a dog and a ferret, whom I take care of, and a house that I'm expected to keep impeccable. All of that's fine and I make it work, despite the stress!
My question is, how do you make time for God? I've been reading the Bible before bed for a while now and have been trying to make it a daily thing (ends up being almost daily!). I read before bed because everyone's asleep by then, so I have some time. But I'm usually so exhausted (and sometimes it's 4 or 5am by the time I get sleep, because I do all my homework and studying for exams after everyone's asleep), I usually only manage to read a chapter and a lot of it doesn't sink in.
My relationship with God isn't as close as I'd like because I'm so busy with everything. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas to help me grow closer to God even though I'm so busy.
Thank you! Hope I posted this in the right place.
