If you remove the insults, the off-topic sniping and random, bizarre comments, here's the entire content of CTD's reply to me, and his response to my answers to his questions:
Absolutely nothing.

Even the most extreme creationists agree that natural selection makes sense and occurs; they just reject the idea that it has much to do with the history of life on earth. That both creationists and biologists have no trouble understanding and accepting a concept that you find incomprehensible and ridiculous should suggest to you where the problem is -- but it won't.

CTD, I don't know what your problem is, but your posts are incoherent pools of hatred, contempt and willful ignorance. Get medicated, get some therapy, get sober, whatever it takes. Until you do, you'll achieve nothing but strengthening the conviction of many that Christians are raving lunatics.

I'm sorry you don't seem to be able to offer anything constructive in your posts. I bowed out of your last thread when you wrote this:-
Bowed out ...as if you were ever in!

Real participation by scoffers is not something we often witness.

I too do not find any profit in discussing this particular thread any further with you, when all you seem to be able to do is to laugh at other people's posts.
If you want to be thought of as "elite", try posting something that might fool an 8th grader, at least.

This doesn't cut it:
Appeal to ridicule, also called appeal to mockery, the Horse Laugh, or reductio ad ridiculum (Latin: "reduction to the ridiculous"), is a logical fallacy which presents the opponent's argument in a way that appears ridiculous, often to the extent of creating a straw man of the actual argument, rather than addressing the argument itself.
I don't present your arguments in any special way - they - are there any arguments to be found? The posts I see are funny, and that's nothing I need to hide.

It's been nothing but silliness, the whole thread long. "Darwin was making perfect sense and he's right because we keep our goddess a secret and never admit we worship her" - WHAT? What!!! Conclusions need to logically follow premises.

Oh that hurts sooo bad. Oh, he flamed me and I just can't take it. My feelings - how can I ever recover?

me said:
natural selection can act only through and for the good of each being
And I specified, did I not?

How does the selection goddess of death work for the good of each being?

How does she work by the good of each being?

How is it that she can do nothing else?

How much mystery has there been on my end? How difficult is it to understand what the issues are?
"Incoherent"

I need medication

...because nobody (who doesn't want to) can answer simple questions.

Now gimme a few minutes to see if I can feel bad because such an individual as this decided to flame me.

Pit evolution against religion and the arrogance of evolution wins every time because evolution is backed by truth, evolution is like holding the best poker hand you can hold, no wonder the smug face, it's the smug face of evolution.

How long has creationism been battling against evolution? I think we can all agree on one thing at least, creationists certainly have staying power, against all the odds they fight on using the same tired old arguments the last generation of creationists used and no doubt the next generation of creationists will also use, I suppose it's to be expected because creationists are not taught the lessons of past mistakes, although AiG did come up with a long list of arguments creationists should not use but I don't think they take any notice do they?

It's just a pity that creationism has such a retarding effect on young creationists.

When I think of creationism it makes me think of a child in a classroom full of idiots, the child is desperate to learn but the idiots are pulling him back, in the end the child becomes just as big an idiot as the rest of the class.

Can all the hatred really distract anyone?

The mystery religion is still just as much a mystery as ever.

Now some may have wondered how come I applied that term. Mystery religions have a very long history. If you know what one is, you understand what you're witnessing. It's very important to protect the "mystery" from those who are "inferior". It must be protected at all times.

It's no mystery to those in the know, if those not in the know would like to get to know they are more than welcome all they need do is pick up a few books, but we know that's not going to happen because their dogma is holding them back,
so for them evolution remains a mystery and their self inflicted ignorance triumphs again.

No elitism here ^_^

Do tell...

Ask a question, and get page after page of total garbage, with no trace of maturity, let alone "elite" intellect.

all they need do is pick up a few books,
^_^

"natural selection can act only through and for the good of each being" - straight out of the sacred evotext!!! ^_^ Oh fer cryin' out loud, what a waste of time.

Anything to maintain the elitist fantasy...

...and that means anything but the truth, obviously enough.

I begin to think perhaps "Don't feed the trolls" = "Don't post at CF"

That's true. Tell me how it follows logically that a man born on earth can walk on water? Or rise from the dead? How does most of the Bible follow logic? Frankly, it doesn't.

You spout about how evolution is a religion, as if religion is a bad thing. Then you talk about religion, as if it was a good thing.

You have but one thing... you believe in your version of what god is. From that stems everything else. But logic? You wouldn't know what logic was if it bit you in the butt.

Logic is believing the universe came from a primordial atom, isn't it?

Another creationists trying to drag science into the mud with them. It really makes me wonder how much they loathe their own beliefs when they use religion as a derisive term.

Do you ever see a scientist deriding creationists by calling creationism "just another science"? No? Why do you think that is?

Because they're too busy calling the Jews 'ignorant Bronze age sandal-wearing tent-dwelling goat herders'?

Nope. Try again.

It happens to be because scientists respect science more than theists respect religion, IMHO. This is why scientists do not use "science" as an insult like theists use "religion" as an insult.

Just think about it for a moment. When an drug addict says "Well, he's just a drug addict too" what are they trying to do? They are trying to demean that person and bring them down to their level. I see creationists using the same strategy, especially in threads like this one. You never see a medical doctor say "well, he's just a doctor like me" in order to indicate that something is bad. Why? Doctor's respect their profession. From every indication I can see in this thread, CTD does not respect religion.

How long has creationism been battling against evolution?
2500 years. Although Abraham was a Chaldean from the city of UR and was told to come out from their error. Evolution has it's roots with the Latin, Greek, Roman people. Where a lot of science had it's beginning and founding fathers. Although a lot of people would date evolution back to Darwin and consider him the father of evolution.

In the Bible Paul was in Mars Hill where he began a discussion on Creationism/Christianity. Of course Creationism goes back at least 3500 years to Moses when the Book was written. At the time there seemed to be a lot of conflict between Moses and his "brothers" in Egypt. Moses was the grandson of a Pharaoh, but he was adopted. Still he got all the best education that the natural decendants of the Pharaoh received at the time.

At the time Bronze age was cutting edge technology.
Good point -- but somehow I don't thing these guys are intending to make good points with the Jews, when they talk like that.

I've already shown that, if you're an atheist, you have to admit that Israel is not the Promised Land.

Like I said before, my dorm father in high school was in a concentration camp in Germany. He lost an eye there when the guard hit him with the butt of his rifle. He excaped when he pole volted across the fence. So I know to many people that the persecution was a little to real for them.

The disjoined, pseudoprofound posts resemble him a lot don't they? They're different people though. CTD's home base is Evolutionfairytale.com

Is there a particular style of hat you prefer when talking through, or do you just grab whatever is nearby?
