The reason is that he's a very easy target. Anybody who is on the fence of evolution can see he's a fraud (the mammoth example is an unambiguous one), so evolutionists pick on him because creationists defend him, and in defending him, the credibility of creationism is hurt.

When Aron-Ra used to post here, he put up a challenge asking for a single example of a creationist who claimed to have scientific evidence that didn't lie about that same scientific evidence. No one was ever able to come up with a single example.

We have been provided a perfect example of how creationism blinds people to the facts.
There is nothing anyone can say to bring these people back, I can see why this con man finds it so easy to take their money, if he said no I'm sure they would force him to take it, no wonder he smiles when he's called a liar by unbelievers he knows he has the creationists in the palm of his hand.

I think an important thing to understand also, is that creationism of 100 years ago is not the same as creationism of today.

Creation science is not just another scientific opinion, it deliberately misrepresents science, or put another way "bears false witness". The example concerning the mammoth is only one of many.

Thank you kindly for sharing your views and opinion.

I would agree. He did his time, and now he should be free to become a free law abiding citizen once more.
Maybe in the good old days. Now that were are living in the information era where an arrest record is on the internet open for everyone to see. That can have serious consequences for finding a job, renting an apartment or getting a loan. Now a days a debt to society is far to often a debt that can never be paid. Although maybe it is a good thing. It is pretty easy to run a check on someone to see who your dealing with.

I you were hiring someone, would you want to know if they had a criminal record?

Quite the exposing challenge.

I wonder why he doesn't post here anymore?

As a side topic, this is one the things that I think society has wrong. There shouldn't be limitations to what jobs you can get if you have served your time. We make it really hard for ex-cons to get jobs. Is it any wonder that they fall back to a life of crime?

Did Jesus tell lies about mammoths?

Some call Him a Liar and a Fraud and one of the biggest Con Men that walked the earth.

The mammoth thing....perhaps i do not understand what or where Hovind lied....there seemed to be some controversy about some details about said mammoths.

Can you answer the question? If you were hiring someone to work for you, would you want to know if they had a criminal record?

Sure i would. Does that mean i would not hire them under any circumstances?

No.

I didn't say you couldn't hire them, I asked you if you would like to know if they had a criminal record.

Of COURSE i would, but that is neither here nor there and has nothing to do with whether i would hire them or not.
