One would think that when I ask someone a question seven times and they do not provide an answer, that they have no answer to give.

Since it's Christmas, and I'm in a good mood, I'll kowtow to your badgering and false accusation.

Yet again:

Age, as it applies to embedded age = maturity.

Maturity = possessing all the qualities to perform the duties expected of someone that age.

Embedded age itself = maturity without history.

I think it shows that most Christians are starting to wake up to the facts.

Embedded age is 'maturity without history', therefore Adam had '30 trips around the sun' without making those 'trips around the sun'.

Since actually making those trips would have generated a history, and no history was meant to be generated, then Adam had the equivalent of those trips w/o making them.

However, it is known that without any doubt whatsoever, that the earth has made more than 4.5 billion trips around the sun. The history is there.

I view the idea of embedded age along with young earth creationism as a form of self denial imposed to support ones' beliefs.

I don't criticize those interpersonal beliefs, but I do oppose the deliberate misrepresentation of well known facts in any science, by organizations or individuals, of which there are many examples. To do so, to me, makes the 9th commandment quite meaningless. And if people are going to do that, how can they consciously and honestly support their religious beliefs. They are in fact, doing the picking and choosing of what they want to believe that they accuse others of doing.

Instead of excuse making and conjuring up attempts even more problematic than Omphalos, why doesn't AV just admit that the appearance of history renders his fantasy impossible both scientifically and theologically?

Well, he's not going to and that's why I have him ingore. Hopefully more of you new folks will do so to and the Crevo can get back to a place for serious discussion rather than a counting thread in a different subfora.
