Or you could stick with reality. You can do whatever makes you feel better (and I do hope your wife recovers), but prayer-healing theology just leaves the majority of good Christians to wonder why they didn't get a miracle. Leave God out of the operation room, please.
That would be my heart. And to leave it in the next room pumping would be a mess. Plus my brain...and it would get cold out there. And then there's the scientifc logic of a first cause as well as meaning for existence.

You have no say in the matter, though saying please was a kind touch. "The majority of good Christians" is still the wide path. Only the folks who actually turn the whole of their existence over to God receive answers to prayer. Even knowing this, it's a difficult road to walk.
