Friends, there is loud music, burning crackers songs program, howling, shouting dancing, go on around us. one can hear from inside a room in closed doors.

Salome is not able to sleep, we are not able to have peace of mind and comfort at home. even the beds in our rooms are vibrating, may be because of DJ

can you agree and pray that we at home have peace and comfort, and let all these evil things around us stop, disturbing us.

Life in India tends to be chaotic (compared to the West). Unfortunately, unlike in the West, rules aren't always enforced. People routinely violate traffic rules, etc., and get away with it (ex: vehicles parked illegally are towed away in the West. Whereas in India that seldom happens.. lol). Law enforcement is also difficult because there are too few cops to monitor such a large population.

The Prime Minister has initiated a "Clean India" mission, but it's yet to fructify. Some of that activity is due to the ongoing festive season and will end in a few days. But, Diwali is around the corner. So this'll continue for another month. There's still a lot of illiteracy and poverty in this country, so it's going to be a while before India becomes fully law abiding.
