Everyone: What attracts you to someone of the opposite sex?

For me looks aren't important, sure it would be very nice if the guy God has for me was good looking, but if not than that is still the man I will love. These aren't in order really.

1. Happy personality, not always frowning or anything like that.
2. Clean, well taken care of clothes.
3. The way he treats his family members.
4. Having a servants heart.
5. The way he treats women, opening doors, seating them ect.
6. How often he attends church.
7. If he has a great sense of humor.
8. What he desires in a future mate, what his standards are.
9. Good looks, even the ugliest guy can look really good if he has a beautiful heart.

This is one that not many will say. For me she has to remind me somewhat of my mother. (My mom, while absent minded sometimes is a really caring and understanding person, and if she has those "mom" tendancies, she gets a big boost in my book. ) Of course this is beside a lot of the things already mentioned.

Faith in things unseen (not just God).

Personal integrity and security.

A well-defined process by which they determine their world-view. It doesn't have to be rational, but I have determined that I cannot tolerate a companion with a fickle way of viewing the world.

There are many other things, of course, but I mostly leave the rest up to circumstance and ambiguous personal preference. Aesthetically, either I like a trait or manerism or I don't.

Overall, probably very similar - but with different imporances attached to different attractions. Everything you mentioned I also find attractive, but a thought out "world view", for example, isn't that important to me.

I imagine your ideal mate has a very similar personality/outlook as yourself?

I'm INxJ (yes, this type exists, and I fall straight between NT and NF, sharing characteristics of both)

Just wanted to add that the physical inexperience thing is highly important to me, too. Virginity is a must, and bonus points for everything else they haven't done. I say this 'cause I've actively waited for basically everything, and it would be easier to relate to a mate who is similar in that regard.

And like you, looks are important to the extent that I must be attracted to him. That's about as much as I care, though.
