Brightfame52: "Those who Christ died for have been sanctified and perfected forever Heb 10:10,14 and Gods work is perfect Deut 32:
Now you claim Gods work can be undone and one He once made perfect can defect into eternal perdition"
This is your own opinion, onto which you base your soul, should you not look into it as much as I just did for you ?
Begin here with me, the people of Israel, there with king David, offered with perfect heart to the Lord, David prayed to God, for God to keep forever that imagination ( of perfect offering/willingness) of Israel, and for God to prepare their hearts to God ( eventually in the new covenant of the law written in the heart) and to give Solomon a perfect heart, in keeping the commandments of God.
Solomon did well, but a greater than Solomon came which is our Lord Jesus Christ..
1 Chronicles 29:9 Then the people rejoiced, for that they offered willingly, because with perfect heart they offered willingly to the Lord: and David the king also rejoiced with great joy.
1 Chronicles 29:18 O Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, our fathers, keep this for ever in the imagination of the thoughts of the heart of thy people, and prepare their heart unto thee:
19 And give unto Solomon my son a perfect heart, to keep thy commandments, thy testimonies, and thy statutes, and to do all these things, and to build the palace, for the which I have made provision.
Matthew 12:42 The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.
Job, a perfect upright man, cursed his day once the trial came onto him.
We hear of the PATIENCE OF JOB, knowing we NEED TO ENDURE TO RECEIVE MERCY.
KNOWING THE TRIAL OF OUR FAITH, WORKS PATIENCE, WHICH LETS PATIENCE HAVE HER PERFECT WORK ( ON AND WITHIN US ) SO THAT WE MAY BE PERFECT AND ENTIRE AND NOTHING MISSING, BECAUSE AS ALL TESTIFIED ( AS I AM SHARING TO YOU AND TO ALL WHILE I AM ON THE FORUM FOR A LITTLE WHILE) WE HAVE NEED OF PATIENCE, THAT AFTER WE HAVE DONE THE (PERFECT) WILL OF GOD, Hebrews 13:21, YOU MIGHT INHERIT (RECEIVE) THE PROMISE ( OF ETERNAL LIFE) TO NOT BE SLOTHFUL, BUT, FOLLOWERS OF THEM WHO THROUGH FAITH AND PATIENCE INHERIT ( RECEIVE ) THE PROMISES..
Job 1:8 And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?
Job 3:1 After this opened Job his mouth, and cursed his day.
James 5:11 Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.
James 1:3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
Hebrews 10:36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
Hebrews 6:12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
See the Lords word of judgement, how He spoke about being perfect in the ways, till iniquity was found in them.
That is Gods judgement given right there in Ezekiel, if we trust to our own righteousness, by beginning to commit iniquity, we shall die for it..
Ezekiel 28:14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
Ezekiel 33:13 When I shall say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousnesses shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it.
Then we understand, we are perfect, in that perfect one, in Christ, which is also being made perfect in weakness, in illness and tribulations, so the power of Christ is on us, as Christ was crucified in weakness, but lives by the power of God, and we are weak in Him, but live by that same power of God in His sufferings and afflictions we must endure, as we have to prove the faith, and not be reprobates with no morals, which is the knowledge of Christ, to come to that perfect man...
John 17:23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
2 Corinthians 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
2 Corinthians 13:4 For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you.
5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
Ephesians 4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
Now, here is exactly how that perfect man, and stature of Christ is and was achieved, as needed to be.
Christ is perfected by rising the third day.
Christ made perfect through suffering that death of the cross.
Then Him being made perfect, directs all who obey Him.
His offering of His body perfects them that are sanctified.
That is those who have the law of Christ written into their hearts to do the same love as Him, to have the sins forgiven.
Then, along with needing patience to inherit the promise/promises ( all requirements we need to fulfil in FEAR) after we have suffered a while, can make is also perfect and stablish us, but not if we think there is nothing we must do, which includes what I said for you already and you ignored, you be not highminded, but fear, or also will be cut off..
Luke 13:32 And he said unto them, Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and to morrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.
Hebrews 2:10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferiing.
Hebrews 5:9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;
Hebrews 10:14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,
16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
Hebrews 10:36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
Hebrews 6:12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
1 Peter 5:10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
Here is the cut off for everybody, as I am testifying for that cutting off soon, if you hear the word and do not do it, you have not looked and continued in that perfect law of liberty, and will not be blessed in your deed.
You were exhorted and warned, by God to be watchful and strengthen the things that remain ( of yourself) for they failed to be perfect before God..
James 1:23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
Revelation 3:2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.
Romans 11:20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:
21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.
22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
You do know God is the living word and is with power, and is waiting to destroy all who deceive through His name ( which happens to be about everybody on earth) ?
Your idea is that we be perfected for all time, yet the hypocrisy comes form your own examples, without caring to see them, you saying they were sanctified, because it is past term here.
Fine, but, here is your error, they are beseeched to all be perfectly joined together and they are not, because it is reported there are divisions among them..
1 Corinthians 1:2 Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both their's and our's:
1 Corinthians 1:10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
11 For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you.
Your other, and people try to use this verse as excuse, is that there is now no condemnation...
Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
But the words of Jesus never pass, Heaven and earth does, and then, this is the condemnation, how men reject the light, how they needed to be reproved, needed patience, and to do the things, or being without fear, as all the example God ever gave us reveal, were cut off then, especially as the Son of man also was made perfect throogh the sufferings, how do you think you don't need to go through them and ENDURE/OVERCOME AS HE ALSO OVERCAME ( RUBBISH WISDOM OF THIS WORLD/FOOLISHNESS)........
John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
Revelation 3:21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
