I've had it happen to me. It's absolutely wonderful. I was walking into walls. I don't think it's the Holy Spirit. I think it's a totally natural event, where your body releases tons of endorphins.

What's so wonderful about walking into walls?

People allow flesh to take over. I'm sure we've all done that in one way or another... :p The couple sliding off their chairs - I don't know whether they had control over it or not. The power of hype can cause people to do something like that, and in this case I cannot tell whether that couple is letting flesh take over or the Holy Spirit. However, I don't think it was Satanic.. I know Rodney Howard Browne, and the anointing coming from him is not false. I know many will disagree with me on that, but I will stick with what I know.

i know Rodney Howard Browne also. You might want to re-think that.

It's all about the feels to a lot of people, brinny. It's an altered state of consciousness/ecstatic experience and people are constantly chasing after that next high. Pagans do the same the world over. None of this is remotely Christian. It's spiritually dangerous. It's giving up control of your body to something that certainly isn't holy. It's a spirit, but it isn't holy.

sounds like it was a high ol' time, eh?
Yes it was. Like I said, it was a natural experience. i don't think it had anything to do with the HS. It was my body kicking out tons of endorphins in response to the excitement of the music of Easter morning.

You mean the susceptibility of like kids at a concert and getting into the moment and screaming, etc?

I know those "feelings" again. We know we don't rely on them but Yahweh did make us with feelings.

"... in thy presence is fulness of joy..." Psa 16:11
"...when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord." Acts 3:19

It doesn't take much to offend believers. I've seen 1 tear and 1 spoken amen (different occasions) do it.

Flesh cannot take over. Flesh is you. Its your mind and your body. Unless there is an external influence, you always have control over your own body.

Read Romans 7:14-25 .....
That is referring to our sinful nature and even then, we chose to sin. Paul in this passage is talking about the desire of our sinful nature to sin and how it overpowers the desire in our mind to do good. That has absolutely nothing to do with what we are talking about now. Sliding of your chair like that is not sinful. But I am 3000% sure these people had no control over their bodies and there is no "flesh" that could have done that. It has to be some higher power.

you always have control over your own body.
This is just not true. For example, you can feint. You can throw up. You can have an asthma attack. Your body can do all sorts of things outside of your control. What happens in these Pentecostal churches is that people can sometimes (sometimes they are just faking it) enter into altered states where the mind body link is strong and things like being slain in the spirit and glossolalia are REAL phenomena.

But all unbiblical.

This may come as a shock, but God's actions and ways of showing Himself are not limited to the pages of the Bible. Jesus actually showed this to be a fact in his earthly life when he did things that were never heard of before.

It won't be from God if these practices are contrary to how scripture instructs us to behave.

1 Peter 4:7 "be of sound judgment and sober spirit"
1 Peter 5:8 "Be alert and of sober mind"
2 Timothy 4:5 "But you, be sober in all things"
1 Peter 1:13 "Therefore, with minds that are alert and fully sober"

Galatians 5:22-23 "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. "
Galatians 5:19-21 "Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God."
