watch "this film is not yet rated", a film about the mpaa and how it rates films.

personally, i woulda cared more if greengrass directed it.

Eh. I actually kind of liked it. It was excessively gory, but my stomach can handle it. However... I dare say it was probably the most pornagraphicish movie I have ever seen. If they're going to show that much, I would much prefer actually doing it myself, not watch someone else.

however, the deeper questions it explores have to do with moral ambiguity and the meaning of the human condition, which won't be very interesting if you think you've figured everything out. which may make it uninteresting to some.

i am interested to know, though, how many people here believe the action taken at the end of the film was morally correct?

You mean the action of the protagonists or the action of Ozymandias? The former, yes. The latter...possibly. I'd discuss it more, but I don't want to spoil it for those who haven't seen/read it.

either. though i suppose it's impossible to discuss without spoiling the end. i do think it would be a hard case to make that what ozy did was wrong, if his assumptions were correct. or i should say, more wrong than right.
