The king's heart is a stream of water in the hand of the Lord; he turns it wherever he will.

Acts 5:29 The one passage were Peter tells the Sadducees High Priest to take-a-hike, I like that one. Also becasue they were not the accepted authority for public life or evangelism, but limited to high crimes and controlling the temple. Which is why that particular sect disappeared when the temple was destroyed.

Why do I think that? Because I read it, that's why:

    1 Peter 2
    Titus 3
    1 Timothy 2
    Psalms 22:28
    Daniel 2:20-21
    Romans 13
    1 Timothy 2
    Deuteronomy 16:18-20
    Revelation 1
    Romans 13

Proverbs 21 - A king’s heart is like streams of water in the LORD’s hand:
He directs it wherever He chooses. All a man’s ways seem right to him, but the LORD evaluates the motives.

    John 19:11
    Mark 3:24
    Proverbs 29
    Proverbs 8:15
    Psalms 94:20
    Deuteronomy 28
    Daniel 2:21
    John 19:10-11

Murdering unborn babies in their mother's womb is not God's Will nor permitted under any spiritual pretense of obeyance to gov't, and it is a mishandling of scripture & breaking the 6th Commandment to claim this is the case.

So by your argument, if the government ordered the death of Christians, as many have you would be obliged to obey> What about the almost unanimous opposition of the early Christian leaders to do so? Sure they never waged a war against Rome but they never capitulated either.

Jesus was specifically referring to His own sacrifice on Calvary for the sins of the world which was God's plan for Salvation to save souls from God's righteous judgment & the penalty for sin. It was a fulfillment of the prophecy written in God's word. Isaiah 53:5
The attempts to use the word of God in a fallacious manner to justify the ripping apart of the innocent unborn in their mother's womb's as if it's God's will is manipulation of the meaning of scriptures. The misrepresenting God's Word & speaking for Him is a serious thing especially when you are claiming murder of the unborn, I would recommend you reconsider.

That is an interesting way of looking at the topic.....

Near death experiencers meet miscarried or aborted children in higher dimensions.

    Not so fast.

Off the top of my head...

    1. Psalms "Can wicked rulers be allied with you, those who frame injustice by a statute?"
2.Rahab the harlot lied to her government (hid the Israeli spies) and was commended in James and Hebrews for her FAITH!
    3. Moses' parents "saw that the child was beautiful and WERE NOT AGRAID OF THE KING'S EDICT"! (Hebrews)
    4. Etc.

No "rules" can bind God's children in every circumstance. Faith does exceptional things!

Obviously, GOD allows abortion because it happens; so does HE allow murder, divorce, and all other forms of evil. Why is another subject. Neither can we pick a few verses from the Bible and give those verses the purpose of allowing something we want to do or believe. That is not the purpose of any verse. The Bible's purpose is to give us a picture of a Child of GOD, who is a spiritual being destined to live on a different plane of existence other than the Physical Reality of which we currently consider ourselves a part. GOD even provided us a living example of a Child of GOD (Son) in the form of Jesus.

The primary purpose of abortion is to allow sexual activity outside of marriage without taking the consequences of an unwanted child. This motive is self-serving. Self-serving motives have no eternal value because they are automatically divisive; and what is eternal must be in unity--the same Spirit seeking the same Purpose by everyone according to their gifts and abilities.

On this plane of existence, we need to work to rid ourselves of the self-serving nature while focusing on the highest Purpose of GOD we can envision and contribute accordingly. That nature has no eternal value, and all lifestyles it creates will eventually be destroyed--including those related to abortion, murder, divorce, etc.
