I don't think you understand the point of my post.

I'm saying that religion makes me crazy, and that from experience I cannot handle it. Yet people seem to still be pushing it on me, so it's almost like it's better if I believe in a God, even if my version of religion/faith is horrific.

I'm not pushing it on you I just wish you would turn back to God, maybe you had a horrific experience , do you want to talk about it ? was it by going on feelings , because feelings can be deceptive

I have a cool christand story

Once upon a time, I barely knew what was in the bible. I believed sort-of because of my parents. They were baptist, but we went to church maybe once a year. At times we would go a few times in a month, but that never lasts. Church was just a building to me. In fact, it still is. Church has done nothing for me and at times I wish they would all just go away because of how empty they are.

When I was in highschool my friend was talking to me and I tried to defend christianity, and they were doing their evolution thing. Of course we were both ignorant of what we were defending. So we just stopped lol. I only felt convinced God was real when I was looking at archaeology and history. So even though I know God was real, and atleast felt he was real. I knew I didn't have God. But I would play pretend that I did. Though I wouldnt ever tell anyone I was saved. Even though I asked for forgiveness of sins. His Spirit was far from me.

So I lived the next few years afraid of God knowing I was going to hell. And every day literally I would ask him to give me sight and hearing, because I was lost. Other people would talk like they have known God their whole lives, but obviously I did not. It confused me. I wasn't living my life like them in the bible, even though I believe God is real with all my heart. Neither were these people around me. Ow. Lots of depression follows!

well you have to understand that just asking God to forgive you of your sins, isn't enough to save you, you have to ask Jesus to save you, and be your Lord
