How important is the annunciation?
Or is the meaning of those words more important?
For instance, is not Lord in this context, meaning King of Israel? And does the king not uphold the law fully, and endorse it? Therefore, is making Jesus Lord, really meaning to fulfill the law at least, and at best I suppose hearing and obeying directly?

Meh, nothing changes except we go to the more difficult "hearing and obeying directly" scenario which I outlined. Which is really a more precise path within the former (obey the law). Like...a dotted line on a highway.

When I read something that shows an example, it is the gospel being put into action. So I try to line up other scripture to it (the example). Atleast it makes sense to me to do it that way. There sure are a lot of words in this bible though... 774, 746 words to generalize

Or look at Samson...
He had the spirit coming upon him...leaving...then coming back. Perhaps it's always there, but we just don't always tap into it.

Ephesians 1:13-14 shows what having the holy spirit means though. It seems eerily similar to this believing and hearing thing in this acts passage too.
"In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory."

Hmm...
Perhaps once you tap into it, it will drive you insane until you straighten up after all (is said and done). (assuming we don't blaspheme it, which might mean denying its existence, so applicable to unbelievers, not backsliders who have tasted it)
