No one did, when I was one. Religion just makes some people crazy, and I'm one of them.

I used to be... But being legalistic as a Christian turns so many away, including the one living in legalism. It is why I fell back for such a long time, cause I thought if this is Christianity, whats the point. What Christ did was set us free from the law and of sin and death. I obey because I love Christ, not because I am obligated to. And as Christians, it is our responsibility to share with others of Christ, not force Him down people's throats. In that small time frame, I almost completely turned my family away from God...

It is okay to be passionate because God did so much for us. But there is a line that is there, that crosses over into judging others rather then being there for them and just loving them as Christ did.

Yeah, but I know I would never accept a loving version of Christianity. I like the harsh stuff, and I know I'll be overwhelmed by the emotions again.
Even to this day, I can't help but be filled with disgust when I see a "coexist" bumper sticker, or visit the liberal Christian forum section of this site.

That's what I did as a Christian, and it still landed me in trouble.
I still don't see how that isn't part of religion though.
