Hahaha, I watched a sunset the other day. Doesn't change the fact sexual sin is described as worse than other sin.
No, actually it's not. Under Jewish law, the 3 worst sins were Idolatry, Adultery, and Murder. Only those with an evil anti-gay agenda would claim it's the worst sin. Pure nonsense.

Totally, unequivocally, 110% correct.

Keep saying it's anti-gay, doesn't make it so.

Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body. Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.

In the OT, the body wasn't a temple of the Holy Spirit. Not anti-gay at all, this goes to anyone.

Yes it was.

Uh... He didn't send the Holy Spirit out until Pentecost. Therefore, before Pentecost (like, the OT...), the body wasn't a Temple for the Holy Spirit.

EDIT: I would like to point out that yet again... I have nothing against gay people. Hate the sin, not the people who commit the sin.

However... telling anyone that they are "Anti-Gay" is just like telling someone that they are "Anti-Murderer" or "Anti-Thief".

Murder, Stealing, Fornication, Homosexual Sex... is all listed as "Sin". Those who are habitually committing these sins without any sort of repentance, the Bible says quite clearly that they are headed for damnation and that they need to Repent and accept our Lord and Saviour.

Doesn't matter whether it is killing, stealing, fornication (heterosexual or homosexual), or whatever the habitual sin is.

Repent and get Saved, or face the Lake of Fire. The Bible is very clear on this.

Slapping an "Anti-Gay" label on a Christian when they try to tell you that this is what the Bible says doesn't do any good at all. Some Christians go too far with the gloom and doom preaching, but yet we do have an obligation to tell the truth.

Trying to twist Scripture around to make homosexuality look "ok" is almost like trying to call God a liar which is even worse than the sin itself.

I know with the US Government supporting homosexuality that many homosexuals want to go out and parade their sin openly (doesn't the Bible say something about people proudly displaying their sin in the end times?), and many want to come out of the closet and tell the whole world what they do with their private lives, but to be honest... there's no need to get all defensive about it, either. Slapping the "Anti-Gay" label on someone like it is Antisemitism or something is getting out of hand.

It is in fact, anti-gay.

Yes it was.

Nope, pro-salvation to all. See, regardless of the sin, salvation is offender to any who believe, repent, confess, obey and endure. If any chose sin over salvation, it is sad, amazingly sad.

No.
Is it a sin to practise homosexual relations? Many homosexuals do not act out their desires, though as long as both parties consent I don't see why.
Is it a sin to be attracted to people of your own sex? If it is then the one who created this desire is to blame (your creator) rather than you.
Personally I think that God cares not one hoot about this subject. Homophobia is a man made prejudice.
there is no such thing as a homosexual Christian .. not if a person has been born again of the holy Spirit and become a "new creature " in Christ . they cannot be both .

Yes, including heterosexual sin.
God loves and will forgive all matter of sexual sin. Teaching/believing that all gays will go to hell is equal to saying all straight sexual sinners are going to hell.

nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers...so instead of actually cultivating a fear of God we dismiss it and stand in judgment of God.

That is cruel to say. For all you know, there could be christians in this topic with same sex attractions, and you are basically saying they are false christians, and you are sticking your head in the sand because reality shows is that there are people out there who are not attracted to the opposite sex but still believe
In Jesus. Saying there are no christians that are gay, is like saying true christians don't sin.

its not what i said and what i said is in direct agreement with the scriptures . a person born again of the spirit of God is a new creature in christ. people need to let go of their past identity in sin and grasp their new identity in God . as long as they hold to the past they are following it .. you can't serve two masters ever .

and "gay" or 'homosexual" is a modern term given by men to appease the senses of the knowledge and guilt of sin. there is "man kind" and his help mate Woman. whom God has made ,and there is sin which corrupts. there is not a third sexual species .there is rebellious sin and its consequence of death and there is the lord Jesus and the free way of life he offers . the lord Jesus is able to and does transform the heart of any person .. transform.. from tat to this .. people seem to no longer believe that he can do that .. so they desperately hold on to their sin self and idolize its power . but the truth is the lord Jesus is greater than ANY sin and is able to (and does )deliver and transform us .
And i encourage any believer ... have some Faith for once and believe in Him that he is able to do all he has promised .

There are plenty examples of Christians who are gay, that don't want to be, and pray to God to make him or her straight. And there still are examples of Christians that are gay......who stay gay. It's not because they want to be gay, and are choosing sexuality or sin over God, it simply because they do not have the will power to change sexual orientations (similar to how they don't have the will power to never sin again in their life), and God is not changing their sexuality.

Your basically telling the people who have faith, and are gay (but dont want to be), that they still have to "try harder", and even though they are believers, them experiencing homosexuality means they are not Christians.

One can let go of their old identity and follow Christ....but still sin. After all Christians still sin, even though they do follow Christ. Becoming a Christian does not make one perfect and sinless.

If your ideology here was correct, then none of humanity would be saved.

oh get real and get some truth going - you basically just said of god who created the heavens and the earth and with whom ALL things are possible to them which believe .. " cant do it " .... no wonder the lord jesus said .. "when i come will i find faith on the earth "

there's no difference between this sin and that sin .. im a man, my flesh is perpetually lent toward the sin of sexual immorality -(i was a porn addict etc ) but the lord Jesus utterly changed my life and my heart so much so that i desire to know him more then i desire the things of the flesh - HE IS ABLE TO DO ALL THINGS .. to even suggest he cannot is simply false Gospel message . the lord Jesus came to set us FREE from the power of sin.. not leave us wallowing in it . it is God news because those that truly believe in the lord JEsus can be utterly SET FREE .he died on the cross to make it so. if the POWER of sin is broken then the only thing that holds a person in that sin .is their own desire to be there . thats going to be some hard truth for some folks and it applies to all sin in all believers .

I never said Jesus can not free us from sin, I said that he wont free us from sinning in this life. Yes we should strive not to sin, and that eventually we will have a sin free life after our life on earth. However we can still screw up.....still sin in this earthy life, even though we have accept Jesus and strive to be better. God also has the power to make all of mankind immortal on earth, he wont though. Just like Immortality, a sinless nature, perfection will happen, just not in this life.

Nonsense. Being gay is not a sin. The only issue being discussed is same-sex behavior. A celibate gay can mostly certainly be a Christian. Your argument is ridiculous, because Jesus came for sinners, not the righteous. Everyone who followed him was a sinner, yet were still Christian. And calling people non-Christian on this board, including gays is a violation of the rules.

Uh yes, there is. Someone who is predominately or exclusively emotionally/romantically attracted to members of the same-sex is by definition gay.

This makes absolutely no sense. You can't just argue away groups of people we have defined based on your own personal beliefs. It's as absurd as me saying there are no Jews.
