It's clear God and the bible say homosexuality is A SIN like sexual immorality, murder etc. Sin separates us from God and God can not allow SIN into heaven. Even when you take the religious aspect away from it, you can see that a man and woman are made for EACH OTHER physically. Same sex couples clearly aren't made for each other physically. I do believe there are some gay people that do believe in God and Jesus and accepted him in their heart, but if they don't turn away from that life of sin, I am unsure what will happen to them in the afterlife. The ultimate judge is God himself. I pray that NO ONE goes to hell, but the very sad reality is some people will end up there (even some people that say they are christians).

To all my friends family and enemies. There is a judgement day for everyone. Everyone will have to answer on that day. I'm not going to sugar coat the bible. It was to warn us the coming wrath of God Almighty. He gave us little ole us that deserved this judgement a way out. It is through accepting Christ. Repenting of what He convicts you of and telling the whole world about Him who saved you. One day a week ain't going to cut it. We as Christians must live loving the Lord for the great sacrifice He made. Please look at your life. Is there something in it that offends God. Tell God you're sorry. Repent and be SAVED.

All in all it is a very simple answer from a Christian perspective . One that is arrived at by asking a question; what does the Bible tell you?
And that is all.
Faulty argument. The Bible tells us the sun revolves around the Earth, but that's definitely wrong. There is more to understanding the Bible then superficially reading the English translation out of context.

We're not talking about the solar revolutions. We're discussing a very specific subject that is not taken out of context in any way when referring to the scriptures that describe the penalties associated with the topic under discussion.

Verse, please?

I don't remember any passage that says the Sun revolves around the Earth...

Not going to read this entire thread but in my opinion that there will be roughly the same number per capita as everyone else.

Then there are bi-sexuals. I see them being the next group that will push for change in marriage laws....that being the legal right to marry one of each sex.

Uh, yes you did in fact remove it from context. And solar revolutions is relevant, because you're claiming we can take any random verses (in this case the anti-gay verses) and claim on the surface, they're automatically true. By that logic, we can take the verses about a geocentric earth as superficially true, which proves the Bible is inaccurate.

Pretty poor view of bisexuals. They don't seek to marry both sexes at the same time.

I understand this is personal for you.

Then can I assume you are one member if the 2 lifestyles. I made no judgemental comments. Just seems to me to be the next group to work for change or at least soon.
However the wording of your post does indicate that you may be bi-sexual, else why would you, with a fair amount of confidence, speak for them?

Joshua 10:12, 1 Chronicles 16:30, Psalms 19:6, Ecclesiastes 1:5, etc.

(Wonder how long it will take until you claim metaphor...)

Joshua 10:12 is talking about the time Joshua asked God to stop the sun from moving. Little did Joshua know that the Earth revolves around the sun. Of course Mankind didn't know that at the time, we see the sun passing through our skyline, so we assumed the sun moves. Now, tell me, Joshua raises his arms to the sky and goes "Sun! Don't set! Moon, Don't Rise!" and God hears his prayer... don't you think that if God stopped the Earth and the Moon in place, that the same affect wouldn't be achieved? The verse doesn't say the Sun revolves around the Earth, the verse says Joshua commanded the Sun and the Moon to stop in their places and God heard Joshua's request and granted it.

1 Chronicles 16:30 doesn't say anything about the Earth in relation to the sun. It says "the world also shall be stable, that it not be moved". This could mean anything, nowhere does it say the Earth stays still in space and everything moves around it. What I get from that verse when I read it, is that He is talking about the world in general, meaning that it the form of the world, its continents, its mountains, cannot be moved except by His allowance. Even today, man can dig giant holes and make large hills out of the dirt moved... but when you view such things from orbit, it is like making a tiny pin-hole with a needle on a baseball, you can barely see it.

Psalms 19:6 is a lot of symbolic phrasing. You picked just 19:6, but read what the other verses say. In verse 4, He says "...and their words to the end of the world. In them He hath set a tabernacle for the sun," and continuing verse 5, "Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race." So one has to wonder just what or who exactly He is talking about here. He's obviously not talking about the actual physical sun, as I don't think anybody would compare a giant ball of fire to a bridegroom coming out of his chamber. Anyplace else in the Bible you see a "bridegroom" mentioned, it is in reference to Christ Himself. I'm half-wondering if they didn't mistranslate "sun" for "Son". I'd be interested to hear what the Hebrew version says...

Ecclesiastes 1:5 does indeed say the sun rises and sets, but yet again... that isn't exactly false. The sun does rise in the East and sets in the West (due to how the Earth spins on its axis), and Nights are shorter than Days, hence "...and hasteth to his place where he arose". The sun actually does move in space (it isn't stationary, but it doesn't revolve around the Earth, either). Nowhere in this passage does it say the Sun revolves around the Earth. This passage does imply the sun moves, but yet... the way it is stated... it isn't exactly false either.
