  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

The Future? I remember when I was 18 and the future seemed like a brick wall I could not see over or around....now I know.... I ran right smack into the brick wall ... the wall of life.. I got banged around and bruised but so far have survived.... PTL

I guess it's all in how you look at it.

Older than dirt, here too.

We used to play in the dirt! Dig in the dirt. We loved getting dirty, even us girls. Are kids allowed to get dirty, now-a-days?
all my grandchildren play in the dirt , they like digging in the flower gardens at my house and haul the dirt in trucks .it use to bother me but not anymore. they are just being kids ( and they are not kids very long any more)

Hey Pilgrim :)

My mom had these 2 sweatshirts, sporting:
1. "Age ^_^ is nothing more than a matter of mind.
And if you don't mind it, it don't matter"
and
2. "Excuse me, I'm 'not' old. I am a *recycled Teenager*, thank you!" LOL

What do you think of that?

I remember Drive-in movies. You paid by the car and when parked some cars would have 4 extra kids in the trunk.

Ya and a couple laying on the back floor covered with a blanket
Do You Remember? ... the Future ;)
Future was hard!! Don't want to remember "only by the grace of God I made it to now!!"

We had a huge sad pile in my yard!! We played in that everyday.Made tunnels and roads, at night we couldn't come into the house until we emptied our shoes and socks and headed for the tub.
It was so much fun, that old sand pile. We didn't even think that all the kitties in the neighborhood used in as their portapotty,oh will

Remember Mud Pies? the real ones made of mud? That was fun.:)
Made them with sand.

I believe the "cream puff" part...;)

I remember the days when we sat about WATCHING the radio. It was a lovely piece of furniture with a large cabinet and a radio dial in the upper centre with two sets of receiver headpieces hanging from the sides.....Then everyone asking, "Now wot are they saying? Cos only two people could listen at once.

Now we WATCH the same things, but still ask, "What are they saying now?"

Cheers,

Jim
