If you weren't saved, you would not care. You pray for guidance as to what God would have you do.
You should not pray for guidance? Does God tell you in scripture what job he wants you to take or who he wants you to marry, or in what capacity you should serve him?
Constantly turning to Christ likeness. Turning from the flesh and going the opposite direction. What is your understanding about repenting, from a Biblical perspective?
Never said anything about working to be saved. But you should pray and ask God what work he wants you to do, where he wants you to get an education, who you should marry. Sure, the guidelines are in there. The specifics for each individual are not, however.No. The guidelines for marriage laws and the ethic laws are already there,so you just do it.
As for this service part,if you believe you need to work to be saved you are not saved.

Believe in your heart that Christ rose from the dead for you and confess it with your mouth. Ask for forgiveness for your past sins.Alright so what does a person need to do to be saved?
Believe in your heart that Christ rose from the dead for you and confess it with your mouth. Ask for forgiveness for your past sins.
To stay saved, stay in the Vine, which means talking to God, reading the scripture, letting him lead you.
It's not complicated.
Well the Bible says something very different on how to be saved. In the words of Jesus:
''For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.''
I don't see Jesus mentioning the stuff you listed.
Yep, believers have eternal life. I totally agree. Former believers do not.Well this doesn't actually agree with what Jesus said:
1"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
He says nothing about "staying saved" but believers have eternal life.
What does eternal mean?

Yes but the English word believe does not fully encompass the definition of the Greek word pisteuo used in the New Testament. In order to fully understand the message the authors were trying to convey it is important to understand the definitions of the words they used. Notice the primary definition involves all of the first three descriptions. Hence the number 1 in front of all three descriptions. The words believe, believer, and faith are all forms of the Greek word pistis which is translated to faith in the English versions. Notice that all three imply faithfulness, trustworthiness, loyalty, and fidelity, not merely a superficial belief in God’s existence but an actual devotion to God.

Trust the Bible or don't.
You can’t sum up the full teachings of the scriptures with a single verse friend. A driver’s license handbook says a person can get a driver’s license at the age of 16 but that is not the only requirement. The person must continue reading in order to understand all the requirements. We’re the goats in Matthew 25 condemned for not believing? From the context it appears they seemed surprised that Jesus rejected them despite their acknowledgment that He is Lord. Very similar to Matthew 7:21-23. There’s no indication that these people didn’t believe. If they didn’t believe then Jesus would’ve said that is why they were condemned. But instead He said they didn’t do good works and refrain from sin. These were heartless self serving people who apparently believed.
