I'm not sure whom you're writing to, but...

Of course Jesus spoke Koine Greek. It was the lingua franca of the Mediterranean world at that time. It was also the language of the Septuagint, the Greek Bible in use at the time. Unfortunately, many of the Jews had forgotten the ancient Hebrew.

I think that most 1st year High School Students, could understand that the "greek text" is not the language that Christ was speaking in ISRAEL. where He lived and died, before the Apostles letters were written, that were hundreds of years later translated into the "greek" manuscripts, or Latin. that were used to create all the english versions.

Also, the keeping of our minds is the work of God's peace . . . not our work >

"the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

Therefore, renewing our minds includes how our Heavenly Father's peace guards our minds. This we do not do, ourselves; we are not almighty. But God's peace is almighty to do this.

This is so very important regarding a person's Christianity.

It is not only about believing and thinking. Our minds need how God alone is able to transform our character so we are submissive to God in His peace ruling us, plus we are "with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love," (Ephesians 4:2)

So, it includes how God's love effects our character of our minds . . . spiritually.

"and be renewed in the spirit of your mind," (Ephesians 4:23)

Not "in the thinking" or "in the beliefs" or "the ideas" or "the attitudes", but "in the spirit of your mind".

But Philippians 2 tells us how we need to be in our attitude, I would say. But we can't do this unless God has changed us into how Jesus is gentle and lowly.

So Jesus is a language? Okay then...

Do you really think that the Son of God couldn't speak more than one language? When the Holy Spirit -- one of the Godhead -- came what was the first thing people did? They spoke various languages!

I assume that you're not a time traveler, so the fact that nobody speaks Greek there today -- something I find hard to believe -- is irrelevant. Koine Greek was the lingua franca of the Mediterranean world at the time of Christ and the Bible for most was the Septuagint, written in that language. It is inconceivable for the Son of God to not be able to communicate in Koine Greek.

I have Threads and many many posts that address renewing your mind, and being Transformed and Waling in the Spirit.
If you have time, give them a read.

Also, your "character" is not found as your body.
Your character is found as the soul realm. This is your mind.
Your body does not control your mind, your mind controls your body.

Mind, is BEHAVIOR. Mind is THINKING, CHOOSING, WANTING, and DECIDING and PURSING.
The way your mind is shaped to pursue what you want, is your : character, found.
If your mind is only shaped by thought process, for years and years, to pursue "that feels good, that tastes good, that looks good," then your character has been developed to pursue DESIRE, more then DISCIPLINE.
When we temper our desire with discipline, we achieve "character".

So, what God does, is he bring situation into your life, and you have to endure them.
And this enduring, is hard. And in this continuing, you are re-made, in your CHARACTER.
See that heavenly discipline?
Its also true that God's GRACE and Power, becomes the root of who you are.... in the process.

Let say that you are not born again.
I hope you are, and to be that, is more than just being water baptized.
See, your SPIRIT has to be RE-BIRTHED, and water only touches the outside body.
The body is not the spirit.
God has to touch the INSIDE< your spirit, for you to be born AGAIN.

Now, lets say you are not.
And you come into a situation where you are confronted with someone you love, who has had an accident, and you have to be there for them.
This falls on you.
So, a year later, they die.
All that year, you watch, you try to help, you are "on call".
At the end of the year, you are bitter, and broken, and exhausted.
Now, let you are born again, and have CHRIST in you.....

This "story" happened to me.
My mother went into a coma, due to a heart attack, and i was her nurse for about a year, till she died in my arms.
No way out, for about a year.
This Fell to me.
This is impossible to stand, unless you have God's Grace.
I did, and i can tell you that GOD's GRACE will "give you the Victory", no matter the horrible situation you might have to endure.

So, now, because you are born again, you see this year long situation differently, then the unbeliever.
You find that your energy is sustained that year.
You find that you only see the situation as God loving them, using you.
A year passes.
You have been inwardly disciplined.
You have become more like the Savior.
You do not feel bitter, you only feel closer to God, because " patience brings experience and experience brings HOPE".
See, the born again, always have HOPE.
God and Christ are our hope, and they can't Fail.
God can't fail, reader, so, when you know that, you have real hope.
So, bring that into any situation you are facing, that has you "stressed".

The unbelievers always have none.
Unbelievers have no hope.
They are "alone in the world" without hope and without Christ.

God created Language, and Jesus is God.

However, the question is....To Whom was Jesus sent?

He dealt with different dialects, and because He Is God, He certainly could speak them.'

Paul was the person who dealt with a lot of Greeks.

Don't know where you got your information.

The Septuagint is a Greek translation of the OT in the third century before Christ.

Put that in the perspective of the age of the U.S.A.

Now you're changing the subject. Why?

Are you familiar with perhaps the most famous verse in the New Testament, John 3:16?

"For this is the way God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life."

God sent His Son for everyone. Matthew 15:21-28, "After going out from there, Jesus went to the region of Tyre and Sidon. A Canaanite woman from that area came and cried out, “Have mercy on me, Lord, Son of David! My daughter is horribly demon-possessed!” But he did not answer her a word. Then his disciples came and begged him, “Send her away, because she keeps on crying out after us.” So he answered, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” But she came and bowed down before him and said, “Lord, help me!” “It is not right to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs,” he said. “Yes, Lord,” she replied, “but even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their masters’ table.” Then Jesus answered her, “Woman, your faith is great! Let what you want be done for you.” And her daughter was healed from that hour."

When read in context it clearly shows that His saying “I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel” was a teaching moment for the woman (and for us in the Gospel). Otherwise He is going back on His own statement by His healing her (and Jesus doesn't lie).

What does your non sequitor of "Paul was the person who dealt with a lot of Greeks" supposed to mean? We're discussing Jesus behavior.

It started in egypt.
Also, note that its not used today.

There are 30 completed greek texts, not including what Origen, made.
WE use about 2.

The original discussion we had, is .. that you do not understand Greek.
So, you trust a translator as your final authority.

John 3:16, has a context.
The context is THE CROSS.
The Cross is the New Testament, that is the new covenant being installed, during the "time of the gentiles".

So, That God so loved the world is the universal offer of God's reconciliation.

Jesus coming to the "house of Israel", is a different subject, topic.
Jesus a Jew, came from a Virgin Jew, to the Jews.
He fulfilled THE LAW that was given to THE JEWS.
The original day of the Holy Spirit, was during a Jewish FEAST, ..Pentecost.
Jesus , who came to the House of Israel, told us to "Go into all the world' with the GOSPEL.
The Gospel didnt occur till the CROSS was raised for the world.

See, the offer of God's reconciliation, is a verse written after Jesus was DEAD, and this offer is to everyone, who lives "in the time of the Gentiles" as a Free Gift.
This is going to Change, but for now, its a gift.......Salvation is a Gift.

It doesn't mean that He didn't speak Koine Greek. Denying it is a waste of your time as well as ours.

Your issue is with the Greek dictionary, not me.

So your personal "revelation" trumps Scripture because Scripture is in Greek, which fact supposedly nullifies the following Pauline Scriptures, which have no place in your teaching.

Your intellectual honesty still does not allow you to address each one, Biblically demonstrating its "mistranslation" from the Greek, preferring rather to use the fig leaf of "mistranslation of Greek" as the refuge for your contra-Biblical "teaching."

The word of God above has no place in your teaching because you do not rightly understand
the righteousness of justification as distinct from the righteouness of sanctification (holiness), and
assume that sanctification (holiness) is given with justification, which the above shows to be in error.
