The word of God IS Greek!
Do you think Jesus, who is the Word, was speaking Greek when he was in Israel for 33.5 yrs?
Yeah, something is amiss.
Its your theology and your answers.

Is that intellectually honest. . .or something amiss?Do you think Jesus, who is the Word, was speaking Greek when he was in Israel for 33.5 yrs?
I'm not sure whom you're writing to, but...
Of course Jesus spoke Koine Greek. I

And God in us has us doing what He says for us to do >You are told to renew you mind.
You are not told to wait till the Holy Spirt does it.
So, we do not do it ourselves, plus we do not just sit and wait for the Holy Spirit to do this. But we trust God and submit .

It is not only about believing and thinking. Our minds need how God alone is able to transform our character so we are submissive to God in His peace ruling us, plus we are "with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love," (Ephesians 4:2)"Study to show yourself approved, unto God", means using the Bible, as well as a good Pauline Theology ONLY teacher who can take you into the aspects of God, regarding how God wants you to BELIEVE and THINK.
This is so very important regarding a person's Christianity.
Sorry but, Jesus spoke Aramaic.
Remember that Jesus is a HEBREW, and that is a Language.
Been to Israel?
Noone speaks Greek there.
They speak "hebrew".

Do you really think that the Son of God couldn't speak more than one language?
Don't know where you got your information.I think that most 1st year High School Students, could understand that the "greek text" is not the language that Christ was speaking in ISRAEL. where He lived and died, before
the Apostles letters were written, that were hundreds of years later translated into the "greek" manuscripts, or Latin. that were used to create all the english versions.
Thats the wrong Question.
God created Language, and Jesus is God.
However, the question is....To Whom was Jesus sent?
And in that answer you find out, what im trying to show you.
Jesus was sent "to the house of Israel".
He was not sent to the Greeks or to the Romans, or to the Scandinavians.
Now to your point.
He dealt with different dialects, and because He Is God, He certainly could speak them.'
Paul was the person who dealt with a lot of Greeks.
Don't know where you got your information.
The Septuagint is a Greek translation of the OT three hundred years before Christ
Put that in the perspective of the age of the U.S.A.
Now you're changing the subject. Why?
Are you familiar with perhaps the most famous verse in the New Testament, John 3:16?
"For this is the way God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life."
.
Lots of things were written before Christ showed up.
Does this mean that Christ spoke Greek vs Aramaic, chiefly.
Not quite.
If you do some manuscript evidence searching, you'll note that this text isn't recognized as reliable.
It was not even generated in Israel.
It started in egypt.
Also, note that its not used today.
There are 30 completed greek texts, not including what Origen, made.
WE use about 2.
So, all this rattling about "greek" is, a waste of your time.
Only if the Greek dictionary is a fail. The original discussion we had, is .. that you do not understand Greek.
So, you trust a translator as your final authority.

Your attempt to render all invalid except your opinion is the fail.

Your issue is with the Greek dictionary, not me.Stop trying to teach a language that you can't read.
Be smarter and more honest.
