CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I wouldn't mind acting on a internet crush. As a long time netizen I've found out that peoples personalities are pretty much same irl and online. Or at least, most differencies are fully predictable once you get some experience on internet communicating.
Altho when talking particularly about CF, there is this minor obstacle called Atlantic Ocean, which would likely raise the doorstep for acting a bit higher compared to some finnish/european website.

I guess I just find the awkwardness of meeting someone from online a deterrent. Plus, there's always the possibility of being catfished. BTDT.

I think that this is higher risk for younger people. I think alot of teenagers would find it funny to fool someone that way, but can't really imagine anyone of my age I know, who would be likely to do that.

Hey all's, I wanted to apologize if I came across too boldly. I do have a lot of admiration for a lot of guys on here. I really like a lot of guys on here, Knight especially.
I have a lot of respect for a lot of the guys here on CF, and it's that respect that compels me to say that it's not my desire to lead anyone on, or to use flattery to get flattery.

You still have to keep your guard up though as you could find a much younger woman online and have it be just a game, but again you're at an advantage with the whole Atlantic Ocean.
If you're a great swimmer, all bets are off.
