Do you get "morning sickness"?

Does anyone else get "morning sickness" in the two week wait before you take the test?

Every month I get it and every month I try and tell myself it's fake, but secretly believe that maybe this time it's real. And I imagine the baby there and even sometimes think in terms of "we".

Then I take the test - negative - gutted! Sickness vanishes! Till next month.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Nah - I do it too, sometimes. My cycles are really irregular, which makes it harder to tell the difference or know when would be the appropriate time to test.

I've just done it again! Next month I will remember that I just get queasy when I haven't eaten and not think I'm pregnant. At least I didn't waste a test again this month...

It must be awful not knowing when to test. I don't think I could take that extra level of uncertainty.

Before I got pregnant with Justin, I did the same thing...every month for a long, long time. Amazing...isn't it? I know House is just a show but he said something very profound the other day...we don't know the control that our minds have over our bodies. It is really amazing what our minds can convince our bodies to do, thus the morning sickness. I was told twice by doctors that I was having a fake pregnancies of sorts...I had all the symptoms of pregnancy, but no baby. I can totally relate!
