do you ever wander if there is something more to life then what you do everyday?

Yes there most certainly is, this life and the things of this life and this world are only a fraction of a percentage of what's really out there, or even more exciting, on the other side of here... To explore it is to explore God, for he is it and it is him, and all is him really...do you ever wander if there is something more to life then what you do everyday?
I told one of my friends recently, who he says his family is waiting for him to fix his situation and they were all waiting on his to fix his life and situation, and I told him I wanted him to get to point in his life and situation, where he would be fully satisfied with himself, his life, and his situation...I have been thinking about that as well recently, but in a positive way. I think much happiness, fulfillment, joy and pleasure can be had when one lives the life they want. So many things, and people, seem to conspire to rob us of our desires and independence. We buy into lifestyles that don't fit us well, but we 'settle' for it as being 'normal'. The result is what we see in our society: Crime, disease, poverty, mental illness, hopelessness, etc. People in America, and most of the west, have the freedom and means to craft a wonderful life for themselves. Sadly most just don't see it.

Then I asked him what would do that...?, and if he came up with something, was he willing to do what was necessary or required to get it from where he is now...?
However, IMO, and BTW there are way to many people who cannot truly answer that question as to what would truly and genuinely do that...
God Bless!
Or the lack of how to wisely use money, but/or/and not sell your soul to it also...I think if you scratch deep enough the lack of money accounts for most of a person's 'situation'.

What is a truly wise, responsible use of money in God's eyes though...?True. Money is "a wonderful servant, but a cruel master". The trick is to make it your servant.
This is where some people might come in and say tithing BTW, the 10%... And there are a lot of poorer people who do do that, but not many rich, would ever give 10%... Some few maybe...?What is a truly wise, responsible use of money in God's eyes though...?
Never, ever get to use it for yourself, or what...?
What's the balance...?
God Bless!

But then there is "alms" also...This is where some people might come in and say tithing BTW, the 10%... And there are a lot of poorer people who do do that, but not many rich, would ever give 10%... Some few maybe...?

The spiritual development of the individual will not always be about just about that individual though, right...? And, shouldn't that be reflected in how one handles or uses their money also...?How to glorify God with your money is much an individual thing, imo. Of course we can do a lot of rationalizing along the way. What I believe is most important to God is the spiritual development of the individual. If money can serve that purpose then I believe it has been put to good use.
God likes a cheerful giver... (and not a proud giver either) (Pharisees did all that, but out of duty and obligation and while they may not have begrudged it, they were very proud of it, and themselves because of it, they even like to make a show of them doing these things (giving) and very much liked to call attention to themselves for doing it) (to reflect "their" holiness)...Tithing, or any charitable giving, must be done in the right spirit, or it can have a negative spiritual effect. I was in a 'tithe paying' church and many had bad attitudes about it, and many suffered hardship because of it. Not good.

Anyway, wrong spirit I don't think will get you anywhere with God...

We have to be careful not to allow society or social norms to dictate either the course of our spiritual development, or our spiritual development in general though right...?Spiritual development usually takes place within the social context.
