if there is something more to life
Our pastor just said that God could already have us in eternity, but He has us here. So, our being here must mean a lot to Him.

So, all along we can discover what God wants with us, in this life. There is always loving we can do :) Other stuff is the stage background :)

do you ever wander if there is something more to life then what you do everyday?

I've always kind of thought that there was less to life than what I do every day. In other words, the important things are already there, but finding them would require paring down all of the junk that deflects, distracts, obscures, clutters and corrodes the core of all that really matters in life. I was very happy at a time when my home was bare of furniture and stuff, but I was happy just to have a home. I was very happy when I only had one friend, but I was so happy to have a friend. I remember being thrilled to have a bad job. I remember the joy of having a jar of peanut butter, when I had nothing else to eat and no money to buy food.

It's strange how wonderful each blessing becomes when we are poor, and how paltry the most marvelous of things seems when we are rich.
