So is the law changed as stated or merely a part of the law? Remember James says the law is a single undivisible unit.

Jeremaih doesn't say the 10 Cs would be written on our heart anywhere.

Paul doesn't say that a Christian partakes in the commonwealth of Israel. He does say that Christian are fellowcitizens with the saints - 2 entirely different things.

so, tell me, what law will be written in our hearts in the new covenant?

and what are you talking about? a true christian is a saint!

Lets start with what it isn't. Jer 31:32.

and what are you talking about? a true christian is a saint![/quote]In the narrative found in Ephesians the commonwealth of Israel isn't called the saints. Who are the saints. I didn't ask who is included in that group.

Mat. 5:17-22 for starters? we still got a heaven and we still got an earth and not all things written about Jesus has come to pass yet.

But we, Gentiles, weren't under the law in the first place.
How can we believe in Jesus, be saved by him, receive eternal life, his Holy Spirit and every spiritual blessing besides and then put ourselves under the bondage of the OLD covenant, which cannot save and which even God's own people could not keep?

Gentiles were never under the law of Moses - ever :p

Yes and we have Luke 24:44 and Hebrews 7:12.

Hebrews 7:12 ( NKJV ) 12For the priesthood being changed, of necessity there is also a change of the law.

the author is talking about the priesthood in heb 7.

what laws pertained to the priesthood?

and he only talks about a change and not an abrogation, correct?

:)
As long as they are not imposed on the "gentile" Christians, I have no problem with jewish Christians keeping 'em  :groupray:

Yeppers that is correct. And guess what? Jesus doesn't quailify under the requirements of the law. Jesus is from the tribe of Judah and not Levi.

How can you defend the law when you obviously don't know the answer to this question? Those laws are found in the law from Exodus to Deuteronomy. I'm not going to do a study on it right now.

Yes and not one jot or tittle of the law shall pass (change) until all be fulfilled. I've referenced LK 24:44 several times showing Jesus testified that had occurred.

like saying human vs. male...
humans can be male, or not. It's a vague statement. Looser.
Hmmm....
Genesis 6 and 7 are interesting passages.
In Gene 6, YHVH uses male/female, but in Genesis 7, He used man/woman.
I hope I never never get gender confused :D

http://www.scripture4all.org/

Genesis 6:18 And I set up covenant of Me with thee, and thou come to the ark, thee and sons of thee and woman of thee and women of sons of thee with thee.
19 And from all of the living from all flesh, two from all thee shall bring to the Ark to preserve alive with thee, male/02145 zakar and female/05347 n@qebah they shall be.

Gene 7:1 And YHVH is saying to Noah come! thou and all of house-hold of thee to the ark, that thou I see righteous in generation, this.
2 From every of the beast the clean thou shall take to seven seven a man/'iysh and its woman/'ishshah of him, and from the beast not clean, he two man/'iysh and its woman/'ishshah of him.
