I don't know what you see in my post but a question of are you living scripture or just debating scripture. I'm trying to help you break out of this dark heritage of false teaching you've swallowed. But before you sin against me, with more false projections maybe you should cool down and study to see if your teachers are telling you the truth or not. They're not.
I'm trying to help you see the "dark heritage" of our fallen nature. (the flesh) The one we are still dragging behind us as we walk toward the light. (repentance) You seem to be pretending that it is not there. Is that not a false teaching?

Romans 8:10
But if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, the Spirit gives life because of righteousness.

Romans 7 happens to be pointed at the 10C, but I agree we are not under the Mosaic law which includes the 10c and ordinances. I've already said that.
"... pointed at..." ??? Backpedaling.

Read verse 8 and 9 together. We aren't talking about our bodies. In fact read from verse one, but out of the NKJV that has all the words.

12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned—... Therefore, as through one man’s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life.

Don't you know what happens when your carnal nature is born again of the Spirit? You seem to think it stays the same, powerless. Wrong!

Romans 7 happens to be pointed at the 10C...
He used an example of the law (the whole law) from the most obvious place, the TCs.
It means NOTHING beyond that.

If anything, the TCs point at the whole law. (since they are a subset)

Our carnal nature (the flesh) is NOT born again.

Romans 8:5
Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires.

Galatians 5:17
For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want.

It is our spirit, NOT our flesh (carnal nature) that is born again.

John 3:3-8
Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.” 4 “How can someone be born when they are old?” Nicodemus asked. “Surely they cannot enter a second time into their mother’s womb to be born!” 5 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. 6 Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. 7 You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’ 8 The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”

You said, "Our carnal nature (the flesh) is NOT born again." Unfortunately you are not kidding with this joke of a statement. It is the fallen nature that has to die and our new nature is the result of being born again. Adam gave us our old nature. Jesus gives us our new nature and are new creatures in Christ. Our nature is where desires comes from, either of Christ and righteous and sinless, or willfully sinning and of the devil. Yikes!

This is where you are clueless as to the born again of the Spirit experience. The only way to be Christs is to have His Spirit.

What gives you the right to say I am clueless over a difference of opinion?
Or to claim that my scriptural position is a joke? (superiority/pride of life) ???

I have supported my view with scripture. Where is your scripture to prove that we are born again in our flesh (carnal nature)? ???

New nature? What new nature? Chapter and verse, please. Thanks.

2 Corinthians 5:
6 Therefore from now on we recognize no one according to the flesh; even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him in this way no longer. 17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. 18 Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

20 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. 21 He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

John 3:3
Jesus answered and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

John 3:7
Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’

1 Peter 1:3
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

Romans 5:
9 For as through the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, (inherited a fallen nature) even so through the obedience of the One the many will be made righteous. 20 The Law came in so that the transgression would increase; but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more, 21 so that, as sin reigned in death, even so grace would reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

What do you think being born again means? I hope it is not when our bodies will be changed in the twinkling of light after we are dead and Jesus comes for us.

It is from our carnal nature from Adam that man sins. In order to not sin, something must be done to the source of the problem, the carnal nature. It is born again and are no longer in the carnal nature but in the Spirit, if one has the Spirit of God, and if they don't have the Spirit of Christ they don't belong to him.

The law keeper without Christ, or I should say before Christ, when they were trying to do what they knew to do, but their flesh was craving the opposite could never please God

Romans 8.6 For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace, 7 because the mind set on the flesh is hostile toward God; for it does not subject itself to the law of God, for it is not even able to do so, 8 and those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

The very next verse is in contrast to the old nature. Romans 8:9

So knowing the the carnal nature cannot please God, Jesus comes and makes the nature brand new through the Spirit. Born again.

It is the fallen nature that has to die and our new nature is the result of being born again, like a phoenix rising out of the ashes. That old nature, the carnal one is nailed to the cross with all its sin and debt against us and perishes.

Jesus was a friend of sinners; you can be too. o_O

I am your friend, if that is what you were referring to.

Like Jesus, Paul did the same thing and loved on those he wanted to save. Not that I'm going to love on you, I made a oath to God, so sorry bud. I noticed that Paul made mention of his conscience a few times, and I determined that he knew he was in a good place spiritually if he could go to bed with a clear conscience. That is what I practice. And remember that's a super sensitized spirit. If it does not condemn you, you are in assurance.

You are welcome to your opinion, but you have failed to prove biblically that we are given a new nature to replace the old one.

Oh, okay. Thanks.
I thought you stopped talking to me because I said I am a sinner. (saved by grace)

Thanks for putting all that together for me. (us readers)
But none of that tells me that we have a new nature.
I think this sums up my POV pretty well.

Romans 7:14-20, 25
We know that the law is spiritual; but I am unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin. 15 I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. 16 And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. 17 As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. 18 For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. 19 For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing. 20 Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it. ...
25 … So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God’s law, but in my sinful nature a slave to the law of sin.

Colossians 3:5
Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry.

I put my assurance in the completed work of the atonement on my behalf.
Christ did for me what I could never do for myself. I rest in his finished work.

Just to be clear, I do have a conscience and deal with whatever God is convicting me to deal with. However, I believe we sin in ways we don't even realize. As children of God we spend most of our time as snotty-nosed ragamuffins. But He still allows us to climb up in His lap. We are His kids after all.

What do you think is born again of the Spirit? What is it that caused us to sin if not our nature? If Jesus took away your sin, why do you say you sin everyday? Is your Jesus less powerful than my Jesus?
