Of particulasr interest in that OK GL catechism is, "Hence, while influenced by this principle, hypocrisy and deceit are unknown among us, , ,"
The problem is, most of the Masons we deal with are not at all "influenced by this principle". Might be that the hypocrisy and deceit is not known amongst the "brethren", but it certainly does have a nasty habit of rearing its ugly head outside the lodge room.
