And that is where you are wrong. Evolution has more than enough evidence for it to be considered proven.

Now if you mean evidence for the existence or nonexistence of gods you would be right. I have no evidence that says that god does not exist. But then I never claimed that. My claim is that you have not provided enough evidence to support a reasonable belief in your god, and in that I am correct.

Getting back to evolution, the theory of evolution and science in general do not disprove god. They only disprove certain gods. For example Apollo was debunked once we realized the true nature of the Sun. And if your God is the God of the Genesis myth he was debunked in the 1800's. Of course that is only the God of literalists. Many Christians are not literalists. Their God is no debunked by science.

And you would be mistaken in that belief. Not only that, Original Sin is a very immoral belief. Think of it for a while. If your father murdered someone without you knowing about it would it be right for you to be forced to go to prison?

I was reading on how Bill Nye was brought up religious. The problem with religion these days is that they send people to cemetary, oops I meant seminary, in hopes of doctrinating a good preacher.

You do realize that not accepting the theory of evolution is roughly equivalent to the supposed beliefs of backwards tribes that cameras stole your soul.

The theory is extremely well proven. In science there is no controversy about the theory.

Indeed. Evolution has absolutely nothing to do with my atheism. If I became convinced of God, it would merely mean that I would be convinced that both are true.

I believe that 15 billion years passed before the first day of creation. After that the earth was created in six days as in the Genesis account. Therefore the world is only about 6,300 years old.
